Thanks for posting, a great live vesion of a wonderful song. I’ve seen Genesis and Peter Gabriel many, many, times and was very lucky to get a ticket to see Kate Bush at the London Palladium in the late 70s. Awesome concert.

I saw Gabriel with a similar stage design a long time ago at Madison Square Garden years ago. Such a simple and brilliant concept, brilliantly executed. Then a few years later with his complex center stage show. This is my favorite style for Gabriel.

Mr Gabriel is just Very Good Human. The album US was especially meaningful for me. It hit me at just the right age. A musical encouragement to dig a little deeper into myself to search for a better Me. This song, although on a different album, is just reinforcement of his ability to search for the positive in humanity.

Jennie Abrahamson gives a haunting, almost Eartha Kitt kind of delivery of this song. Just different from KB and Paula Cole. I have now watched this three times and have learned to like it a lot.

Kate, Paula, Jennie - different voices, all great in my opinion. Finally saw PG live on this tour and was blown away by Jennie's take on it. (And considering the fact that the song was inspired by photographs from the great depression I find her country twang quite fitting, even if the song, of course, is not locked to any specific historical event.)
