Peter Gabriel - Playing For Time (AI music video)

My entry for Peter Gabriel's contest in collaboration with StabilityAI. I chose this song for the challenge it would bring me, as my animation style is usually quite far away. What I never saw coming is the emotional weight this project would have, so it was really a surprise when I teared up at 2:00 AM to my own renders and Peter's powerful voice and lyrics.
It was really difficult to assemble because I rendered around an hour or two of animation total, and many awesome shots had to be thrown away in the interest of improving the overall flow. There are still a few places where I probably should have kept the inferior render in exchange for fewer cuts.
Technical details:
- Rendered at 24 fps native
- Base SD 1.5 model
- No LoRA

The German COSMIC ROCK band TANGERINE DREAM (I dated and sang for their initial drummer KLAUS SCHULZE during my psychdrugs SHAPE d teenage wildlife l i b i d o days) composed an entire album called ZEIT (TIME) and the ROLLING STONES released a song called OUT OF TIME. .which deeply resonates with me in 2023...

Stunning imagery....just would have liked it slower to take everything in. It's an age thing I guess. Just playing for time.

I appreciate all the hard work you've done for your videos, and hey, who can resist Peter Gabriel or Genesis? But, in every video I've tried to watch, the whole video contains a constant flashing effect, which is distracting to me, and also I can't watch that effect for very long. Is it possible to use this AI software and not use that effect? I'd like to experiement with AI to create my own visuals. Thank you.

Für me - both. It is such a slow and intensive Song. The Animation doesnt mirorring this.

too jumpy. don't mean to be a bummer but the video is just too bouncy and the transformations are at a much too constant rate. maybe just simply slowing it down would help.
