Ohhh, those lucky people to experience this! I saw Gabriel in Montreal in the '70's with Genesis and I have never stopped loving this man's music. He's magical!

You have a point, maybe generational . . . I just turned 58 on Jan. 7 and maybe I'm suffering from selective memory:) In 1986 I chaperoned a "Tale of Two Cities" summer tour for high school students where I taught English, and one excursion was to Bath where I climbed atop Solsbury Hill, found the recording studio where Genesis first started, and was the last one on the bus b/c I was too busy scouring Bath for info on PG . . . oh the great days of yore! To this day I do not feel a day over 30:)

In depends on which era you grew up in.. I loved Genesis right until Phil left but I think Genesis really got chance to shine when Peter left. Three was the magic number for Genesis, and Peter was and is better solo.

Genesis died long before Phil Collins said it did, but then again, I think Phil must have 'Missed Again'

@hellozio Its a tradition at all Peter Gabriel concerts to clap during Solsbury Hill. Though it does annoy the Hell out of me too.
