40 years ago, on the 18th of August 1977, Steve Biko and his friend, Peter Jones were arrested at a roadblock in Grahamstown. They were returning from a meeting in Cape Town. After their arrest, the two friends were sent to different facilities, with Jones being sent to the Algoa Park police cells. To take us back to that tragic time, we are joined by Peter Jones from his home in Pringle Bay, Western Cape.
