I was there. it changed my life. i think i was about 16 years old. i heard peter kowald had died when i was about 20 .. . . i loved this man . . may the peace resonate, that is all i have to share

what always set him apart is his ability to listen to anything (others and himself) with the least possible level of preoccupation - avoiding the cliche trap / that's what made him a brilliant solo player and a perfect matching partner for any other formation
