One of the all time great walk ons from one of my all time favourite players. Manley really knew how to get the crowd going both in the good ways and bad. Darts misses all these great characters like Manley, Bristow, Mardle, Ted Hankey etc. None like them nowadays

Crowd loved him after this. Easily forgotten what a great player he was, long time world number that knocked Taylor off his perch for a bit, should have won more and definitely should've been world champion

Thanks for the great upload. Btw Peter Manley: For some time now I've been intrigued to find out who hit the most perfect doubles/checkouts in a row in a televised darts match. I did a little research and learned that Michael van Gerwen achieved 8/8 doubling perfection vs Wright in the 2016 Sydney Darts Masters Semifinal. In the video of this match the commentator mentioned that Peter Manley hit 9/9 doubles (and lost the match) @ World Matchplay some years ago. However I can’t find any trace on the net which of Manley's match that could have been. Do you know which match that was and if there is a video of it available online? Or if not, would you be able to upload it? Thanks a lot!
