This high-flying musical has been thrilling audiences of all ages for close to 70 years and is now being brought back to life in a new adaptation by celebrated playwright Larissa FastHorse, directed by Emmy Award winner Lonny Price and choreography by Lorin Latarro. The adventure begins when PETER PAN and his mischievous sidekick, Tinker Bell, visit the bedroom of the Darling children late one night. With a sprinkle of fairy dust and a few happy thoughts, the children are taken on a magical journey they will never forget. This extraordinary musical full of excitement and adventure features iconic and timeless songs including “I’m Flying,” “I Gotta Crow,” “I Won’t Grow Up” and “Neverland.” PETER PAN embraces the child in us all so go on a journey from the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning - your entire family will be Hooked!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is probably the first production of the musical where Peter was actually played by a boy.

Jack Noseworthy played Peter on Broadway before and in Brazil Peter was also played by a boy, Matheus Ribeiro.

Not the first time, but DEFINITELY an outlier. The songs for the musical were written with for a soprano, so it'll be interesting to see and hear a male actor singing them.

A Peter Pan with newsie New York accent, and a fabulous Captain Hook slaying the stage. This is the most Broadway version of Peter Pan ever.

I could listen to Nolan Almeida sing this for hours, and his voice too. He may have slurring but it adds a really childish and sweet feel to his Peter Pan.

I really like the playwright Larissa FastHorse. She is an excellent writer. But that said...I was dragged to the show. Did I really need to see another version of this show? The songs aren't good. And the Peter Pan actor is too young. But from the second the lights went down...well guys this show is pure magic! So exciting. When they flew through the window. The audience gasped! It's funny. Brilliantly designed and directed. Ms. FastHorse has fixed the problems in the script. And the new plot is so much fun. And I always thought the songs were kind of corny but the new lyrics and arrangements made them so much fun. Oh and the actor who plays is a star! Love that kid! Bring a kid and go see this wonderful new version of Peter Pan!

Then I hope they will do a proshot DVD and/or TV event on this like they did with “Peter Pan Live!” and the Mary Martin and Cathy Rigby versions. Shame they never did that with the Sandy Duncan version.

So they had the original and stuck with it, then strayed off course when turning it from an animated movie to live action, and then into theater, and then another theater by making peter pan a girl, and then it all just went downhill from there, to now THIS where peter pan is a dude again (I think.) and then they made wendy BLACK...okay yeah sure that tracks.

Of course it had to be politically corrected for anyone who can't understand that a 70-year-old musical based on a 125-year-old play is not likely to be the most socially enlightened by contemporary standards. Which of course brings up the question "Then why do it at all?" Because it's easier to sell a famous title and familiar material than to try to come up with a modern-day equivalent.

I went to this show 2 days ago with my high school on a Chicago, IL trip. I'm not huge on theatre but this show was so much fun to watch. I highly recommend it

The script isn’t great, but the performers, songs, and visual aspects are amazing
