Peterbilt 310 Dempster Route King RL With Custom Glass Box

So me, Mike, and Jared went filming in Portland, OR. I took a week off from work to visit friends, and to go filming. This company loves their old classic trucks, and are proud of them! What's special about this truck is that it has a custom glass box. One is for clear glass, the other for colored. Also its a 310, that itself makes it an epic truck. The body is also very unique. This is my first time seeing a Route King in person, so not too bad for a first video.
A big thank you goes out to the crew for letting us film them while they work.

oh man this truck is great! I love the 310 cab and the custom glass box was so cool! And I really like how fast the crew goes. Man it must get tough with so many glass bottles like at 7:07 and considering how high the glass box is, I'm very surprised these guys didn't spill any! Awesome work, definitely one of my favorite RL videos!

Awesome video! For sure a favorite! I thought all the tricks with the bins was really cool along with the manual dumping! The huge glass stops were awesome as well! Just an all around epic video!

Dude, this looks like a VERY old school truck. Really nice job of filming and stuff. Love the glass collection. That whole combo just seems so rare! I guess it is. Awesome job!

Great footage! I love this truck! Recycling doesn't look contaminated. I like the glass recycling box, its cool.These guys sure don't waste time, they're pretty fast. One of your clips repeated. lol.

Thanks! Yeah, in Oregon people know what to recycle, and keep it clean. Yes, these guys are great at what they do! Yeah, I just reviewed the video after I posted it, and I just noticed that. Oh well, it was a great clip anyway!

Very nice footage! That box is a single compartment from Kann in their Versa-Haul model IIRC. It fits so well. With those cardboard boxes were they saving them for reuse? I noticed the collector putting the inserts back in.

Thank you! Oh, I though that was custom made. lol. Good to know! They saved some of them and gave them back to the Bar for them to use, the rest were packed. I didnt get footage of that.

KennysTrucks Ah cool. Well it actually is somewhat custom made anyways as Kann probably designed it specifically for that chassis and space. Very cool find either way. I don't think I've ever seen just a single box on a RL like that before, just comobo bodies with a small RL and 2-3 compartment units in front.
