@@Hitekkleotruckings If the engine has a manual stop lever, pull the stop lever. Crank the engine, now there won't be cold fuel injected, While cranking push the stop lever when you think it should start, if it does not start pull the lever again and keep cranking. Used this technique on a lot of old diesel engines and they start much quicker this way.

I get that was supposed to be funny, I do, I'll even admit that I had a chuckle, but as you perhaps know, a nuclear power plant is powered by its namesake, one or more nuclear reactors, and a nuclear reactor fires up by moving the graphite rods out of the way, that's all it takes. The fuel rods' neutron emissions then cause a chain reaction of neutron emissions. No need for a crank starter...

People dont realize these starters are much stronger than that of a car. Same starter in mine for 10 years and been a few winters with several start up like this. Not always was it able to be plugged in. And 2 weeks with the high of -2. Just let her crank. I may have let off once. But you can tell by color of smoke alone if she is about to fire

@@monsaka7827I drove a lot of trucks that had “starting aid” buttons. None of them worked. The Pete that I drove years back had a Cummins in it that looked like a brick wall. I would plug it in every night, and it would fire up every morning with no issues. I was doing some work under the hood, and found that the plug for the heater core was just dangling there…. That thing fired up at -3 like it was summer!

Американцы ленивы😂. В Суровые Российские зимы мы эти машины даже на летнем ДТ запускаем легко. Надо отдать должное - эти машины лучше переносят наши зимы и качество дизельного топлива, чем Европейцы. У катерпиллера и камминса теплообмен топлива проходит через рубашку охлаждения двигателя. По этому на работающей американской машине баки горячие всегда. На всех топливных трубопроводах дюймовые резьбы и большое полдюймовое сечение, так что легко подходят водопроводные краны😂. На бак установил в разрыв топливной магистрали Т- образный кран с легкосъëмным выходом. На другом баке просто краны для отключения. Одним движением рукоядки Т крана отключаю замерзшую солярку из бака и подключаю в этот Т кран топливный насос 12в, который качает горячую солярку из алюминиевого 40 литрового молочного бидона, стоящего на газовой горелке или паяльной лампе. 😂 Горячее дизтопливо прокачивается электро насосом по всей топливной магистрали, нагревая топливный фильтр и вытесняя воздух из системы, стекает обратно в бак. После запуска , прогрева и перекачки всего объëма горячей солярки обраткой в бак, перевожу кран на питание из бака даже не заглушив двигатель. Можно ещё масло в поддоне погреть и в воздушный фильтр факел при запуске сунуть для облегчения пуска. Мучать так стартер и аккумуляторы не стоит.

Сказки расказываеш , во первых из-за бортовой сети 12 вольт , стартер долго не крутит , после 17-18 градусов эти ведра после ночёвки без эфира не заведёшь . Как не Америка вечно на рц стоишь смотришь , круглые сутки мотор тарабанит стоит 😂.

@@user-cc9cc7qe3w во первых, не важно 12в или 24.Важно ëмкость батарей, которых у американцев 4 шт, и три из них чисто стартерные. Не смотри на размеры, а смотри на тип и пусковой ток. Аккумуляторы 31-1000 110-140 Ач для американских тягачей имеют 1000ампер пусковой ток и 140 ампер часов КАЖДЫЙ! Но по деньгам такие как чугунный мост тянут:) Это уже ты переделку судишь. Пробовали переделать кулибины на обычные свинцовые 190-е две шт. Там пусковой ток общий в два раза меньше, а размеры в два раза больше. Так что больше двух шт вместо четырёх родных, в ящик аккумуляторный не встают! Вот тогда стартер долго на морозе и не крутит:) Да ещё и мозги глючить начинают, т. к. для них специально 4-й родной аккумулятор отдельно запитан и при стартерной нагрузке вольтаж на нëм не просаживается. А при переделке всё вешается в параллель....Про "вëдра" посмешил:) Сам то работал на американцах? :) На северах поспрашивай про, например, движок Катерпиллер и даже Камминс:) Про ресурс, неприхотливость в наших условиях и надëжность. У них на Аляске или Канаде климат схож с нашим...У меня на предприятие новые мерсы приходили в своё время, напичканные электроникой... Отказались сразу! И по проходимости, и по надëжности гавно, с америкой не сравнить. Посмотри полную массу, с которой работают Американские тягачи в Австралии, например, таская по три-четыре и более прицепа. Американцы только лишь в мягкости и нежности Европе уступают:)

Запас прочности? Ты хоть в документах на тягач открой допустимую максимальную массу американского тягача и европейца стандартного открой, посмотри:) По этому носатые тягачи и трëхосные все в стандарте, за редким исключением.

Im 56 in northwestern ontario, the first winter my dad had a 230 timberjack with 353 detroit he used felt mill tarp to cover the hood and sides, then put an old coal oil lantern underneath. It started every morning but when it got -20--35, celsious he would start it a couple times during the night. Next winter he put quick couplers on it which worked really good as long as the old international halfton would start.

В России от камазов и до Фред лайнеров про -15 вообще не глушат, а до -15 всегда в ящике паяльная лампа и греют поддон. Можно разжечь факел и в воздушный фильтр засунуть, тоже запускается на ура

Чем чем стартером Просто нужно понять , то что при долгой прокрутки стартер начинает греться. При сильном нагреве стартер просто выйдет из строя. Нужно знать меру времени например 30 секунд и 1 минута отдыха тогда можно крутить стартером сколько влезет или пока аккум не сядет. Время максимальной прокрутки указывается на стартере.

@@user-yy6hn3hv4t Чтобы завести двигатель в мороз нужно для начала масло подогреть хотя бы горелкой. +на большинстве грузовиков имеются специальные подогреватели. Подключил в розетку через час двигатель готов к запуску. Если дело так плохо , то бери строительный фен и положи в воздухозаборник. 1. Прогреть масло 2. Прогреть свечи накала 3. Пустить теплый воздух в воздухозаборник Шанс запуска двигателя увеличивается на 70% +стартер будет крутить гораздо легче и посадить аккумулятор будет тяжелей.

Two things: Your starter is communicating with your nearest diesel mechanic using smoke signals. Your fuel system is gonna be el-fuckoed if you keep doing that even with stabilizer/Fuel Anti-Jelly.
