A couple of weeks ago in the hot weather, the daughter had a 26th birthday party and BBQ. Dad (me) of course had to drive a few of her mates home in the cooling summer night, roof down on the old XR3i. This came on the memory stick and they all went silent, "WOW, that is the most beautiful song. Who is it?" and "Put it on again, again, again!"....came the remarks. It seems OUR taste for 70s/80s music is shared. Good taste hasn't died with the recent dreadful music scene afterall. I don't think I have ever made a music compilation with this track. The sax just makes the hair on my neck stand on end. If I had some on my head, that'd probably stand on end, too. Thank you for this track, Hazel.

There's so much to love about this track. Most of it's been said already, but just let me say this, as a drummer - I love the way the drummer lays down that groove and STAYS OUT OF THE WAY !! Let me tell you, it's so hard to do.

Totally agree !! A classic song , great vocal and a brilliant bit of sax playing by Wesley Magoogan who later went on to play on The Beat's 'Special Beat Service' album in 1982. You're right in saying that Hazel O'Connor was under rated. I think she has a great voice and is right up there with Annie Lennox, Sade, Kate Bush, Tracey Thorn, Debbie Harry and Chrissie Hynde .
