Does anyone else think that Radagast's reaction to Gandalf's cursing is hilarious? The way he's like wtf?? and turns around, then he's like so seriously "Gandalf what are you talking about??" LOL. Those 2 guys are awesome.

@@LaurensPP _This trilogy sucked though_ It didn't, though. In spite of its glaring flaws (and the Hobbit movies are incredibly flawed, I'm not gonna say otherwise), the trilogy is still vastly superior to the original book on so many levels. _It was a CGI infused_ And there's nothing fundamentally wrong with CGI. If anything, it gives the movies this ethereal, unrealistic feel which involuntarily suits the tone of the story, seeing as it's a biased and embellished retelling of the events Bilbo witnessed. _cheap thrill ride_ A flaw inherent to the source material. In the book, there is no real sense of danger, all the tension build-up moments systematically fall flat, there are tons of narrative ellipses with important events happening "off camera", and most of the characters in the book are totally transparent. In short, for the most part it's just the Dwarves constantly running from one place to another and that's pretty much it; the best part of the book being by far the "Riddles in the dark" chapter, with Gollum. So, if I weigh the pros and cons, we have: *cons -the lame humor -the forced love triangle -the ridiculous scene with the molten gold statue -too much Legolas -too many action scenes, some of which belong more in a video game than in a movie -WB didn't reinsert the deleted scene where Gandalf talks to Thranduil and asks him if his late wife would have liked to see him cherish the white gems more than his own son -they changed the tone of the story *pros -the original story is still there, albeit bloated and diluted -the cast is impeccable -they fleshed out the characters (the Dwarves, the Elven King, Bard, the master of Lake-town...) and the story -when Kili and Fili are killed, now I feell sad. Whereas in the book, the only thing I remember about them is that they both have blond beards, silver belts, and blue hoods -no more narrative ellipses, with Gandalf leaving halfway through the story only to return in the very last pages, Smaug being killed "off camera", or Bilbo being knocked unconscious as soon as the Battle of the Five Armies begins and waking up only after the battle has ended -Beorn is really intimidating and I understand now why Gandalf is so cautious not to upset him. In the book, he's basically Hagrid -the Spiders and Smaug are scary and you actually fear for Bilbo and the Dwarves. In the book, they are a joke and Bilbo makes fun of them -beautiful photography and gorgeous soundtrack -probably the best dragon I've seen since Disney's Dragonslayer in 1981 -perfect prologue to TLOTR

I love the Thranduil of the movie. I think Lee Pace's interpretation of the character is amazing, cause he (and you all) have found the best way to show us how much the king of mirkwood is different from the other elves already seen in the previous movies. Great job, thank you!

Im sorry for my bad English so i will say it in German just to make sure i have spelled it out.
