Peters Banded Skink Enclosure Design - How many skinks are there now?

The Peters Banded Skink is an adorable lizard native to the Sahel region in Africa. If you ever meet one you'll probably fall in love with these gentle, inquisitive animals. And of course I fell in love hard.
Mel's Exotics is hoping to get some captive born babies in the coming years so more people can experience this incredible species. Be sure to stay tuned for updates!

They're such cute little babiesssss the burrowing and the climbing is so fun! We were so excited when the one finally went to the othet section of the enclosure. They seem so chill!!

Your set-up is wonderful! 👏 They'll really enjoy all the natural enrichment. I really like to see people in the community working at captive-breeding a reptile that isn't very successfully captive-bred, or even focused very much by breeders yet, hopefully in the future reducing the need for many of them being purchased wild-caught.
