Understanding culture requires meeting people who benefit from correct information according to their philosophy in life and the hereafter, and dealing with family, society, life in general, and after death..not in riding a car, eating food, and laughing. Peter excelled in the Amish series.. but he did not meet Muslims who excel in understanding Islamic law and living a 100% Islamic life so that the correct image of Peter's followers on KZfaq, as happened with the Amish

The owner of Arbeel Kabab is so kind. I remember once on a harsh winter day, I ordered food for pick up. When it was time to pay I realized I have forgotten my wallet. He let me take the food and said pay next time. Mind you, I had only been there a couple times before so he didn’t really know me. I still appreciate that sir!

Interesting! There is a middle eastern restaurant around the corner from me (close to Vancouver, BC) and they offer meals to the homeless people that all the other restaurants in the area treat as dirty and annoying. They don't even make eye contact with them as they shoo them away. This restaurant is a hard working family and a blessing to our community. They welcome everyone.

@@Tox1cAshes If you have to ask, any explanation will likely go over your head. It's common knowledge that married middle-aged White women, especially female cops, enjoy "burning the coal" (so to speak) with males half their age. Remember those Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputies (Florida) who went to that Black teenager's graduation ceremony after he accidentally collided into their vehicle? Well, the cover photos on the articles covering the incident showed him wrapping his arm around both of their _waists_ . If they're willing to let a guy young enough to be their son wrap his arm around their waists when they don't even let their boyfriends/husbands do that, then it says a lot. The same goes for an unusually high number of married middle-aged female high school/middle school teachers. They're all a bunch of desperate trollops milking the taxpayer. Whenever their male co-workers hug a female student, it's considered "creepy" and the male teacher is placed on administrative leave and investigated by the D.A. Yet whenever a married female middle school or high school teacher hugs a male student, it's "motherly." There's a reason so many males leave teaching and the misandrist double standard mentioned above has much to do with it.

A lack of spiritual maturity and false desires form false structures that akin to the Tower Of Babel will soon crumble in the dust. Thus, structures in society and govt policies that are rooted in evil do cause many challenges for the individual, so finding a way out is not so easy, although I agree, the Light is the only way to liberate oneself from all imprisonments and entrapments of a crook society. Capitalism, and the greed and oppression that it stems from and causes, is just one wrong way in which mankind have been captured by the darkness. And to some extent, there will be mitigating circumstances for some of these individuals, who have been hoodwinked and abused by leaders who will be called to account for the many souls that they have enslaved and endangered, for the time is nigh for complete change, and for man to live in the commandments of the Lord. To live in his laws will mean changes in every aspect of our lives.@@SnailHatan

@@Lizard1582 that’s not true. The US government/military have a long history of manipulating news and media for propaganda purposes. Just look at some old movies or cartoons from the WW2 era. Look up operation mockingbird, when the CIA tried to manipulate news media for propaganda purposes during the Cold War. They cultivated relationships with journalists to disseminate anti-Russian propaganda, to try to influence public opinion. We see the same things going on today with the reporting on the war in Ukraine, among other narratives and agenda’s being pushed. Hell look at how they report on Trump, vs how they report on Biden. The whole purpose of having liberal news agencies and conservative news agencies is to influence what we think and believe. If you watched more than one source of news you would see that immediately.

I may be in the minority, but I feel like funding the police - for better training and mandatory counseling for all (so there is no negative stigma if you seek it) may be the way to go. This man appears to be an excellent example of what would be a great patrolman and a great American. If I ever encounter a police officer, be it a traffic stop or the worst day of my life, I can only hope it is someone like him. They are out there, but we all see a problem.

@@nialloneill5097 That is a good point. I wish potential police officers were better screened so we'd only have the kinds that want to help, and not the kinds that want to have a power trip over other people. Unfortunately, I think it brings the latter out of people who might have started out with good intentions. They need to constantly be reminded of why they (should be) doing what they're doing. I'm sure they deal with traumatic stuff as part of the job so therapy should be free and mandatory. What they deal with can really get to them and then they have built up stress and it comes out as DA or the stuff we see in videos.
@nialloneill5097
@nialloneill5097 11 ай бұрын
@@angelasands1643 There's some great pts there! Within the whole process, you have how they are when they start, then how they are as the job takes its toll. You need the right material to begin with, who care, but are strong enough to deal with any situations. Then you need ongoing supervision, remined them why they are in the job, create better human beings, advance their technical knowledge of the job, then finally, deal with traumas. I recall the Miner's Strike and Hillsborough tragedies in the UK, including Orgreave. These incidents, and the media reports followed in the footsteps of many previous industrial encounters, and societal attitudes that were carried forth from at est Victorian days, maybe before. Namely that the serfs and working class were scum, and vastly inferior to the upper class elite, who use the law, indeed, are the law, and the police tend to be an extension of their whims. Both events caused a lot of hate towards the police, and it is well known that many of them lied to incriminate the miners who were fighting for the jobs and livelihood, and communities and way of life. Somehow, the Hillsborough tragedy was investigated, and all these points were found to be credible, as they blamed the fans (scum) for the problems that led to close to 100 deaths. In court it was found to be the fault of the police, and after the event, many police were told by their superiors to lie, so as to fit the fans up with the blame. Eventually, some of the police have been found culpable, but their sentences are nothing compared to say what the wrongly convicted miners received, banged up, lost job, lost income, lost industry, lost community. There were many lies too from high politicians, including the then PM, curfews in local villages, innocent people and children beaten up. As you said, it is a power trip to many, which comes from an inner neediness, hence why many police, even high officials, are now being found out as sexual predators and abusers. I think on one hand then, this is a continuation of the class struggle, where the rich are seen as the superior being, and the workers, or unemployed now, seen as inferior, including on a moral basis. This is why we developed strong Unions, which were the Voice of the people, but are now smashed after that Strike. Our society is not the same now, there are lies, oppression, abuses and falsehood everywhere now. Secondly, the job attracts no-gooders, as I have some of them, and found them nearly all to be untrustworthy wanna be's, liars, crooks, and they would shop anyone for a promotion, and more money. I also heard of a few that suffered trauma after the Hillborough tragedy, and never worked again. The game called cops and robbers is a part of the bigger games people play (Eric Berne), which are one up games, so involve domination, including at a moral level. So no matter what the rich elite of this country did to their own people, and their colonies, there is a sense that these people needed them, as they were barbaric, uncivilised, etc. Such is the way of deluded, crooked, corrupt egotists, and sadly there are too many in humanity now to make for a good society. The politicians are mostly the same too, on local and national levels, and now..they have no-ne to answer to, as the Unions are weak, the people have no voice, and the indigenous tribes have been decimated. There was a news item today, which said that No 10 would not talk to Greenpeace anymore, as a few of them sat on the PMs roof to protest the govt's return to oil and gas, so they have been labelled crooks, whereas the real crooks are the Govt and the oil companies. Yet if there was a demo in Russia, they would be applauded as worthy heroes. Hypocrisy then at the upper levels of society, as too many of our so-called leaders have become dehumanised, and to justify the unjustifiable, they persecute other with greater vigour. Only great karmic storms will pave the way for a good society, where the leaders are both the wisest, most sincere, and humblest servants of both God and their people. Until then, it will get worse, much worse!!! Man has forgot his spirit, and intuition, and leads his life with his earthly intellect, so he cannot rise above the earthly, and so has become a destructive, and oft evil, rapacious beast, and it is just these people who lust to rule, and so find jobs that suit their motives, whichever tier of society they work in. All the very best.

Appreciate the candor and dedication to the community. 9:50 The officer concedes there are bad police and compares them to bad doctors. The thing about bad doctors is they have malpractice insurance, medical boards, licenses, and oversight with accountability (e.g., one can lose their practicing license.) Does the same accountability and oversight occur within the police community? Furthermore, why is critical feedback and accountability such a taboo subject to the point where officers like this one use the straw man example of ‘see what it’s like without officers’? I think what gets lost in the critical feedback is we *want* to trust the policing community.

Dearborn cops are awesome and he is right, the community is behind them. We (Dearborn) have a large police force, it's just a result of being bordered by Detroit on all sides. You can't have safe neighborhoods and be surrounded by the hood without a lot of police and high taxes, but when you call for police or fire you will hear the sirens before you hang up the phone. Now days though it has to be extremely hard to be an officer in the city as the citizens want the same level of safety while taking away the tools they used for decades to create and maintain that level of safety.

Awesome interview. I can relate about the hiding being a police officer thing. Been an LEO for 11 years. After the Michael Brown shooting, I stopped wearing anything outside of my house that would identify me as an LEO. If someone I just meet asks what I do, I tell them that I just work for the county. If they dig any deeper, then I actually lie and tell them I work in the maintenance shop. I also have a take home squad car. That car gets parked inside the garage whenever it is home. My son came home from school one day and told me that someone was giving him crap because his dad was a cop. A couple months later we decided to move out of the county I work for and into a neighboring one in a different school district. If I was just a single guy, I probably wouldn't care, but I have a family to think about and to protect, and as long as there are disgruntled people who are willing to take their grievances out on the families of LEOs (that have been instances of that happening), I will do whatever I can to protect them.

This cop reminds me of Jon Bernthal's depiction of Wayne Jenkins in 'We Own This City'. Very charming upfront but you never know what lies beneath it all. His use of symbolism towards the end when introducing Zilzal is convincing yet cringe. He talks about cops not going to the gym in cop t-shirts then doesn't get in the cool car coz he did his job? Zilzal is a human being worthy of being called a Human Being. ✌man from the earth.

Peter i was a corrections officer he is right all police officers need to start out as correctional officers. you will learn real quick that the most important weapon any officer has is interpersonal skill how do you talk to people. you need to deescalate the situation you are going into. we did not carry weapons in prison but guess what the inmates are armed with home made weapons. you need to interview a correctional officer sometime and find out what goes on in prisons.

I feel this officer's words very strongly. I've been a cop for a long time. I almost never let anybody know that I'm a police officer off duty. It goes from enjoying a day off to some type of political discussion about policing. When I'm off duty, I don't want to be bothered with that crap. I just want to enjoy time with my family and time to myself. You have enough stress on the job, you don't need it when you're off duty. As a matter of fact, I don't even eat inside restaurants in the hometown that our police in. You get no peace when you're off duty. I usually go a couple towns over and do my shopping and eating.

Same here. Close to 25 years for me, and this job has become so riddled with political minefields that it's nearly impossible to do good proactive policework anymore. I'm counting the months until retirement.....about 14 right now. The stress has gotten progressively worse the past couple years, to the point I have a negative physical stress reaction when I go to work.

It's not actually as rare as you'd think. Msm just doesn't like showing these interactions. I've lived in small towns and bigger cities all over this great country and have had and seen similar interactions. When I lived in a town on the west coast I used to sit down and have a beer regularly with cop who pulled me over a few times. My dad also worked on a lot of the police forces Harleys and they wrote him a bunch of tickets. One cop who's Harley was being worked on by my dad stopped by in his patrol car and let me sit in the driver seat with a beer in my hand for a picture.

I'm an Indigenous American with a degree in Psychology with a Clinical Concentration and Criminal Justice. I appreciate and am thankful that this man's life has lead him to be so appreciative and optimistic about his career and life here. That said, I think it's important to acknowledge that everyone has a unique perspective Our perspectives are the sum of our life experiences. If people have grown up being oppressed by government agencies and have witnessed authorities victimizing their communities, then a fear and distrust of the police is valid. People's realities need to be honored, especially when they are very different than our own. Little known fact, the Indigenous are murdered by the police at the HIGHEST PER CAPITA rate of any group here in the USA...#MMIW #EveryChildMatters #LandBack #MyCultureIsNotACostume

I bet this cop could never do anything wrong. Everything he does is perfect and correct. He makes sure the driver of the suv (that he wrote tickets to) says he loves him, This is strange to say the least. The amount of power police have corrupts them, also most of the people drawn to police work are susceptible to becoming drunk on power. He’s all talk as well as one hundred percent righteous in his mind.

I have lived in the US for over 30 years and stopped by cops for speeding or some traffic violation many times, especially when i was younger, i have never been shown disrespect, because I never disrespect them, I am courteous, and they are courteous, I have taken my ticket, sometimes let off with a warning, so what? They are doing their job, show them respect, when you need them, they are there for you.
