Thank you for explaining these things in English, it's very helpful. I've been working on my Swedish for almost a year and I feel like I'm a complete failure, as I should know more and be able to have full conversations by now, but such is not the case.

Well, It's really hard to tell but there are plenty considering that all loan words ends with -er.

Hello
@ramshakhalid57872 жыл бұрын
Overall it's good but I can't understand ki concept of "er"
@rubenfalch3021 Жыл бұрын
well, there are a lot of words: computer (dator, datorER), machine (maskin, maskinER), motors (motor, motorER) cellphone (mobil, mobiler). If it is something newly developped, technically specific or has a relation on some sort of science, you very often form the plural by putting -ER behind. Those words are not Swedish or Nordic origin. They are leanwords from other languages, for example Latin, French, English, Greek) But it is not always, for example bil, bilAR. And you have also words without that technical science background, for example elefant, ElefantER or insekt, insektER. And there are also words which have ER and change vowels, for example sleeping bag (sovsack, sovsÄckER).
