My wife As a US citizen and step mother to my son who lives overseas has filed I-130 for him in june 25 2022 .My wife and I got married in september 2008 while my son at the time was 16 years old. Based on many videos i watched specially your video my wife can apply to sponsor my son but since almost 2 years since she applied for him we havent recieved any respond from the USCIS. can you please explain why till today after 2 years havent heared anything from the USCIS? thank you so much for everything, Skander

Thank you for this video. I am stepfather, no legal adoption in PH, just a legal marriage to the mother. On form DS-260, do I put myself as father or biological father? Your channel is a blessing.

I have no family in America or even a real friends ,am a teenager deprived of will and expression. I found in America and its culture what it lacks. I try everything I have to get an opportunity to try to go to this country, and what I found as the only opportunity is to try to get a special rate. These are good opportunities in my opinion, but they are difficult to obtain, but I know that I will be there One day I will return the favor to this great country

I (USC) filed for my 2 kids (minors) but Im flying back to the US for work. Do I have to be present and fly back to the PH once they get scheduled for their interview? Thank you.

I think you answered my question. I was confused which form should be used: N-600k or I-130. The parent is a US citizen residing overseas, she moved overseas when she was 6 years old. The mother she has two children who were born overseas and she will like to get her children US citizenship.

Hi I am a new subscriber! Please i need your advice..my sons are here in the U.S as tourist(with tourist visa). They are ages 21 and 23 and both single , I am a green card holder..can I apply for I-130 for them while they are here?and/or hire a lawyer to fix their papers to be legally be staying here?..was considering that option since the processing time is too long if they will return in the Philippines. Thank you for this wonderful video. Asking for a friend " I just turned 5 years and I am in the process of applying for us citizenship. My child is abroad living with my mother since I have been schooling here. Will the fact that my child is living far from me and for not living with my child at a young age affect my citizenship application?"

I'm currently in the united states with F1 status. My mom will will come to the US in couple of months and she will get her green card because her case is immigrant. Can she apply for my green card immediately after receiving her green card or does she have to wait for some time in order to be able to petition for her daughter (me) ?

Question: A green card holder father petitioning a disable daughter 37 years old, (can’t talk and hear) due to accident when she was a baby, but physically healthy. Can my dad petition her even if she’s disable? And also if it’s possible is there anyway she can come here to the US for medical check for her hearing ASAP? and how long it will take for her to come here? Thank you so much. 😊 Anyway my family is from PH. 😊

very helpful video but I have question I got my citizens on May , during my citizen journey my wife was pregnant even when I did my interview . she gave birth before my oath ceremony day . Now I apply for my wife when I was green card holder and taht time my daughter was born already so I add her on her mother form like her child, thougt when I become naturalized i can apply for CRBA for her but it look like my daughter is not qualified for that because she was born before my oath ceremony day . Now i need to know should I apply another form I 130 for my daughter or wait until my wife case move to NVC and add her there again ?

I read in the USCIS website that if you want to petition for a child or stepchild and wait for the petition process within the US you can do a K-4 visa using the I-129, but as I was checking the form I-129 there is no field for that whatsoever, it only lists the fiancé as the beneficiary or a spouse. My spouse doesn’t need the K-3 visa because he’s here in the US and we are already in the process to get his green card, I only need the kids’ visa to bring them from another country. Can you guide me?

Hello I'm seeking for answer pls help me about my issue because 5 yrs ago when I was approved for an immigrant visa in the US the consular ask me if I have a child I said no even though I have 3 children, I said no because I'm afraid that I could be denied, will it affect if I file a petition for my children please help me thank you

My child was out of US more than 5 years. He was a green card holder back then. but he lost it. Should I petition him again or you can recommend another process? your channel is really big help

Hi! I just watched your video and found very informative regarding my petition to my child, 11 years old, born out of wedlock. I’m from the Philippines and got my naturalization last February 2021. I filed my I-130 already and the USCIS mailed that they received already my application on March 25, 2024 and actively reviewing my petition. My question is, how long can I expect the approval from USCIS if all the documents I submitted has no problem. I mean including the time I can bring my child here in the US? I am really excited waiting for my petitioned to be approved. Do you think in 1 year time, I can bring my child here already or it is only approval from USCIS? Not including the processing of medical, child interview and granting of visa. Thank you so much. More power to your channel.
