“I look at life realistically, with a realistic perspective. I understand that you need to work hard and everyone gets what they deserve. Everything is real in this life you just need to want it.” - Petr Yan
@Bojan-tg2vk
@Bojan-tg2vk 4 жыл бұрын
Why is this so special about it? Really, you Americans hype simple realistic thinking of a simple man who is a very good fighter but as a person realistic and knows the rules of life. Why do u in America must make of everything a big hype or show? Peter does not behave.....idkn, like Conor or some other fighters. Slavic people had always this work ethic, that in Life u must always rely only on yourself and work hard. Only the family will help, give, love, and provide you all u want and be there no matter what happens. Maybe you understand now better why Khabib was so furious at Conor. In my case it's the same, don't mention my family, parents in a diss respect way. That's the end of the line. In our culture it's been always so...I'm a catholic, but it does not matter what religion u are, it's about the respect of elders and family. Nothing special.
@Tryptaminedm
@Tryptaminedm 4 жыл бұрын
@@Bojan-tg2vk Because this perspective has been entirely lost in the West, replaced by braindead consumerism, addiction to ultra-processed foods, porn, drugs (largely legal), and dependence on the government rather than yourself/family. Mass abdication of personal responsibility on a societal level - it makes this traditional/sane perspective you speak of seem particularly interesting to Westerners even though it has been the default more or less for West and East alike throughout all of history until very recently. You should consider yourself fortunate to not have grown up here (I am American)

@@Bojan-tg2vk A little confidence and compassion for being a hard worker is definitely not a bad thing and it has nothing to do with being American. You are just a negative person with no self confidence. Move on now because YOU are nothing special.

@rolledoff7805 4 жыл бұрын
Tryptaminedm speak for yourself, you should be the one whos considers themself fortunate. Your lucky enough to even be able to go on youtube and type away your braindead misrepresentation of America. You should go live with matarese circle (that clearly envys our American freedom) where you and him can question why someone quotes a simple mindset. Whats special is that its being PROVEN and shown to be true by petr. You can take anyone where he’s from with the same mindset thats just some goat farmer and then you’ll be right nothing will be special about quoting him because he’s not showing anything special happening with having that mindset. Unless you live in a third world country you should be blaming your parents for feeling that you were unfortunate growing up.

@@NecroxProduction I had the exact same stance when I did boxing. It's a very traditional long guard stance that's great to manage distance and is the most simplest one of all of the stances. Because the lead arm is extended your jabs are faster to hit and you can paw and extend on people's heads easier. You can also feint better with it as it is way faster than every other stance with the jab. The weakness of it is that because of the long jab you can paw it out and hit a big power shot easier than others. That's about it.

I was on a ferry in Thailand going to a small island called ko phangnan. I was wrestling with one of my friends. A Russian man asked me in broken English did I like wrestling i told him i mainly watch it. He asked me if I knew ufc. Of course I got into a conversation about fighters and he told me his friend was in the ufc. Turned out to be Petr yan. I was told many story’s about him back in their home town and the guy is a born killer. Apparently he would have street fights every week outside clubs and bars and was always knocking people out. Nothing fake about this man. Great video btw I like this style of video. Highlighting a fighters career like that.

K EE his English was super broken his wife spoke decent English though. He mainly talked about petrs fights I believe he had seen Petr live a few times and he spoke about how he thought sterling would be his next fight. He also talked about how in Russia khabib is not as liked as people think and lots of Russians see khabib as some what of a traitor. Dating back to some point where khabib wore a Dagestan flag instead of a Russian flag

That first move Uriah pulled was so slick and veteran-like. Executed almost perfectly, he knew Petry was expecting him to make it a fight in the ground so Yan put a lot into trying to stuff that fake shot. Watching that live was fun to see him having fun even though it was a loss. He rock Yan good for a second also. But Yan is so relentless, it’s insane. His hooks or so crisp

Noticed something in the interview after Jimmie Rivera. He's asked if he wants a title shot or if he would be okay fighting Faber. I'm used to people going on a win streak and calling out the champion. Yan says he just wants to fight and his body language and mannerisms say that he's perfectly comfortable mauling whoever; they'll have to put him in front of the champ eventually. That swagger reminded me of Khabib.

Like for any other russian, you can always become better than your opponent technically, but the thing that really makes him unbeatable and nobody can do anything about it has to be the supernatural amount of cardio he has. Like sometimes it looks like he's more powerful at the later rounds than the first one. He could fight for hours without tiring a bit. These guys have enhanced this ability to unbelievable levels, like they have pain and russian cold weather flowing in their veins constantly. The thing that makes him unique, though, it's really his explosiveness and tendency to sharpen up every single movement he does with his body. His brutality is surgical, not just pure power, but precisely thought to make you struggle and suffer, extremely technical style of fighting. What a beast, one of the most entertaining fighters in UFC today by far.

Sound like a non-fighter simping over a different culture bc you yourself are scared of people who are different lol No certain location or culture is responsible for creating the best fighters, it’s just something you’re either born with or not, regardless of where you’re born. You’re either born with the temperament to want to become one of the best fighters in the world, and lucky enough to have the genetics and people around to support realizing that goal, or not. Throughout time the best fighters have come from all walks of life. If you were going to generalize, America has produced more champion level combat sports athletes than any other country, but that’s mainly bc there’s more opportunity here, and still I’d never argue that people who live in America are the best fighters “because America” or some shit. We’re all humans, temperament, genetics, willpower, nature & nurture, and amnt of supporting resources determines the best fighters, not birth location. For every place that a bunch of tough guys live, there’s an even bigger number of p*ssies that also live there, and for every place a bunch of snowflakes live, there’s a smaller number of BMF’s who also live there, this applies to the whole planet lol

Someone please tell me why some people say Russia has the best fighters in the world when It’s more Americans in the top 10 of every single division than any other country. Go look for yourself it’s only 1 or 2 Russians in the top 10, and Brazil is under appreciated as well. They produce some of the worlds greatest fighters, it’s the u.s and Brazil really who are on top right now, the Russians occasionally have a special guy here and there.
