The Most Creative and Crafty player on the tour. A nightmare for most of the opposition. I think Hsieh is coming into her own.

To halt this 33 yes old double expert's unbelievable march, 3 top class players were to be summoned. To begin with, stunning Sevastova, shell shocked ex- & current top 10 players. At last, Kvitova took the responsibility. Twice GS champ has something to show. 10th game in the final set was sublime, in which Kvitova's facial expression was meant only one thing: determination. Literally she advanced point by point. Calmly done as it looked although unknown what was in her mind then. Hsieh is a formidable opponent, who would never allow her to execute her plan without cost. Hsieh was once a sensation about to beat Serena, but since then .. Seemingly it was, say, one off. Not the case here, she's back even stronger! With the most compact swing, Hsieh is so good at cumulating frustration on her rival. Her swing reveals no sign of her intention, cross court, down the line .. Drop shot?!! Another her feature is in her porker face. Barely express frustration. Hard to read her mindset. No one would dislike Hsieh if he/she likes tennis! Pity, but Kvitova's great job was too tough (not far away from ..) Actually, it was a fabulous match! Kvitova got a chance now to quick back to her #2 spot (if wins)! Good luck!

They are in some condition these girls. Love those small dainty steps that Hsieh takes as she walks. Like a little flower she is. Good match and Petra still has the most lovely forehand the Womens game has seen.....she is gorgeous as well!

Good match between two strong players. I enjoyed watching Su-Wei; she seemed very calm and polite. She does not give death stares or screams at her opponent when she wins a set. Congrats Kvitova, you played very well. I wish though you would stop screaming at your opponent when you win a set. That is not very polite.

It would be great to see Kvitova as world no 1. She certainly has the talent, versatility and athletic ability to get there. She came close in the Australian Open final last month but maybe she will get there later this year.

Hsieh is good when she keeps the ball volleying so easily, but the ONLY problem is, she hits the ball in the direction of the opponent. And that makes it easy for the opponent to hit it right back. But when Hsieh is keeping the volleying going, just hit it in the opposite direction of where the opponent is! Hsieh definitely should’ve had this one! But I still enjoy her playing!!!

As a Czech coach, I have to say, that's never easy to play somebody who has technique of a weekend player 😢The only solution is to hit hard and aim well, plus one has too rush a net often = playing 2 shots fifteens 👍👍👍 It was not easy for Miss Kvitová to face "weekend player's" technique ... I'm all for equal prize money, but why do women play fewer sets and have coaches on court during some tournaments?
