Petra’s power is Geokinesis she can construct, convert/ reshape rock in any form like shields, blades, hammers, etc. and she can fly by projecting a lump of earth beneath her.

actually a really interesting character in this show, very different from the comics where she was mostly just background death to show xavier past fuck ups with his older x men teams :v wish we got more of this show, really underrated

I remember watching this as little girl, where i had no idea of the lore of comics. But a general understanding of Superhero characters and the world they lived in. Always liked this character from the show! Mostly because she had a good design to me, haha.

Wow, the ability to not only move and break earth but also reshape and remold it is something we don’t see very often in geokenetics Compared to Toph in the last air bender, it looks like she has lower raw power output, but also higher overall precision. She manipulated those rocks like they were water attacks with minimal hand movements

I mean, she's not an original character in the series, but at the same time she doesn't look much like her comic counterpart. I think they literally developed her more in this episode than in any comic she's appeared in, good job yostverse

No. His healing factor can survive nuclear blasts (where there is certainly not a great deal of usable oxygen in the air). It can heal him through the damages of suffocation just fine.

@@loganhurley5590 Actually, suffocation is one of the only ways to truly kill Wolverine. Wolverine killed his son Daken by suffocating him to death - as he was drowned. Not only that, but when Wolverine was covered in hardened Adamantium in the _Death of Wolverine_ storyline - he eventually suffocated and died. Logan’s healing factor is directly tied to the activity of his brain cells. Once those cells die off, (like when you suffocate) the healing factor ceases to function. He survived the nuclear blast thanks to his Adamantium skeleton (or I suppose specifically his skull) protecting his brain from the direct impact of the blast. Once the dust cleared - he had begun to regenerate. His durability does provide him with the ability to go longer without air than most, but with sufficient time without oxygen he will still die.

@@goldenaries0860 Wolverine didn't think so in Black White and Blood. He framed it as though getting trapped under water would result in drowning over and over endlessly as his cells would heal just long enough to let him drown again. So at the very least suffocation is much less reliable than decapitation. And his Xavier protocol sure reads as though Xavier thought decapitation was the only way to permanently forestall the healing factor

@@loganhurley5590 The Adamantium coating through still managed to kill him. And Daken’s death through drowning killed him permanently - and he has the exact same power set as Wolverine being his son. Both instances caused instant death. He didn’t revive in either instances. Especially in the formers case, which should have been straight suffocation - as it was only a coating - and not inside his body. In the end though, I’ll chock it up to inconsistent writing. As we’ve seen more instances of Logan (and those with his powers) suffocating and dying permanently, than pulling a Deadpool and constantly reviving.
