About Petra Wörner:
Petra Wörner, born in Karlsruhe in 1957, studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and at the IIT-Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. After professional stays in Chicago and New York, she has worked for wörner traxler richter since 1984, initially as a design architect and project manager. In 1991 Petra Wörner became a partner, in 1993 co-owner and partner, and since 1997 she has been managing partner of wörner traxler richter planungsgesellschaft mbh. Petra Wörner is also active as a speaker and adjudicator and was a member and chairwoman of the design advisory board of the city of Linz from 2015 to 2017 and, in accordance with the statutes, an elected member representing the BDA on the urban planning advisory board of the city of Frankfurt am Main from 2017 to 2021. As an expert with a focus on the design and construction of hospitals, Petra Wörner curates the event of the Hessian Chamber of Architects 'New Developments in Healthcare Construction', which has been successfully established for years.
