The opening title sequence with the blood mixing with the molten plastic was originally gonna result in Chucky's soul being fractured into the multiple dolls made from that batch. They werent able to execute due to the budget, but luckily Don loves to keep scrapped ideas tucked into his pocket so that he can recycle them into later sequels as he kept the multiple Chucky's idea saved for Cult Of Chucky 26 years later

Don Mancini said some things in this movie just didn’t work like Tyler being casted way older than the script is portraying him. He acts like a 7 year old when he’s like 11. Also the sergeant’s death would have been funnier if he was a R. Lee Ermy type aggressive, tough and commanding instead of an old grandpa looking man who could really have a heartache.

Child’s play 3 is a great sequel idk wha the haters are on about. If this was the end of the franchise it ended on a good note. Andy went from victim, to fighter, to protector in his first 3 movies. Chucky was serious horror icon in his trilogy. Great third act and opening. Nice change of setting at a military camp. A grown Andy (even if it’s not the same actor) I liked the side characters. It has the best chucky death and resurrection in the franchise.

Child’s Play 3 is my personal favorite since it was the first one I had on VHS as a kid and my mom ended up throwing it away because I started using Language from it… 😂 Oh Mom now I own all 7 Films and the TV Series on Blu-Ray soon to be 4K… PS I acknowledge Justin Whalin for his role as Jimmy Olsen in Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman that would air just 2 Years after this film!

ironically, the heart attack scene in the movie was used again in a later movie where a woman has a heart attack and chucky is honored to have scared her that bad.

The opening sequence of this film is so ICONIC!! This film is my guilty pleasure and next to the original my favourite of the series. I also never noticed just how GAY this film was until I was watching it with my two new favourite youtubers. Don really was a pioneer when he was bringing forth alot of subtle themes that was slowly brought forth more OPENLY now more in his other films and especially in the 'Chucky' series. I just can not wait to watch the reaction videos when you two do the rest of the "Child's Play" videos, "The Petty Pumpkins" have become my GOTO reaction streamers on youtube. I just ADORE you both, ya'll are too damn adorable and funny, and just so damn fun to watch!! Keep up the great work!!!

One thing I will never understand about this movie is his look. They rushed into production on this movie so soon after the second one came out but yet Chucky's look in this movie is by far one of the ugliest throughout all of his movies which makes no sense to me. Why not just have his look be the same from the second one? And then even though Andy does return to the franchise in later movies I wish they would have given us more of what he has been up to between this movie and then when we see him again. We see the Kent Military Academy diploma on the wall which is weird because at the end of this movie they clearly arrested him so I assume maybe he was never charged with anything and they just let him continue attending school there which is bizarre.
