The redesigned Petzl EXO AP escape system is a unique personal bailout system for firefighters. It allows a firefighter who may become trapped on an upper floor to quickly egress through a window.
This system comes with the EXO AP descender, which is smaller and lighter in weight than the first generation EXO device. It also comes with a steel anchor hook with hitching slot, 50-feet of 7.5mm Technora rope, and an OK Triact carabiner to connect the system to the users harness. There are several bag options also available.
The EXO has been in use by the FDNY since 2006.
