I had to after 2 attempts with different core rechargeable batteries return them. They simply didn’t work. I’m going to look into rechargeable AAA. Otherwise I enjoy the flashlight. Enjoyed your review.

Oh that’s no good. I have been using core battery with no problem and I’ve been using it for inverse a year of travelling now. It works great for me.

That keeps happening to me too! All my headlamps loose their elasticity even when I only use them for once a month. The most recent one that it happened to me with was the Nitecore NU25.

Zipkas my go to lamp but every few years I either loose it or the plastic cracks and the thought of a head strap getting tangled up with stuff in my pack , I buy a new zpika . just bought the 200lmn version and the new way the batteries are held in looks like it'll last alot longer.

Yeah looks solid so far, I'd be surprised it wont last a good several years. Lets see!
