#PetzlTips - Rescue a coworker on a rope with the JAG SYSTEM
We often train at relatively low heights but long descents mean rope elongation. This may become an issue that wasn’t considered in training. In this Petzl Tip we show a simple way to overcome rope stretch during rescue of a coworker.

If you would have put the JAG higher on the rope there would be no need to pull so hard. Plus, just attach the tail of the JAG rope to your foot loop and stand up. Why strain your arms when your quads are 4 times stronger? Just a thought. Jim H.

I don't understand why ID was set in this chain? it was possible to make a hitch before unloading the KROLL, and lower the victim onto it simply using JAC🤔

How do you lower the guy if you don't put his ID on? Jag only there to lift and release tension on the croll. Don't understand why he doesn't put id on sternal position though!
