I have same 1980 peugeot SP ..can't start up lately..all works in place ...spark from flywheel . But not coming out of the coil .

Could you show how you wired that new stator to the old electric. I just bought what looks like the same from treats and the lights and kill switch don’t seem to fit anywhere. Thanks

The Treats Le Partie CDI can be adapted into the old wiring, the original stator had a single wire for lights/power. you will need to run the yellow wire first from the stator to a voltage regulator box, then the out from the regulator box can be wired into the old system. However I find it easier to just completely re-wire the bike, as the old wiring is redundant and at this point likely damaged.

@@Ascoute1 i just bought one yesterday, its weird i can only get it to actually run every so often few times i try. Something particular i should look into that may be causing this problem? def need to de-rust the tank, but that shouldnt be the full issue? ive replaced the spark plugs also. find it weird it runs when it wants too
