I have this car in the 2017 Black Edition 1.2. I love driving this around, does the job with great power for the size of the engine. Small wheel also feels perfect.

It's such "unorthodox" to hear a hatchback with a diesel engine for everyone outside of Europe but I absolutely love it. The fuel economy on these kind of cars is probably un-heard of.

Did a trip with car 75% (trunk + seats) loaded with things i was moving to 400km trip, cruise control at 115kmh and managed 3.8l/100, it literally costed me more in tolls than fuel to reach my destination (23 euros for diesel +32 euros for tolls) now imagine what the fuel economy would be if i hadnt have the car so loaded. It was amazing how easily it was pulling in 5th gear when i wanted to pass someone

Première voiture que j'ai conduits de ma vie (auto école) quel plaisir de conduite, j'aime bien la précision du volant etc... mais dommage que cette voiture fait un peu voiture pour fille, je préfère la 207

The 208 is lighter and more agile. It is smaller with the same interior space.

I drove this car at my driving school as well, very reliable however I’ve always found the gear shift a little ‘flabby’, but maybe that was because of the intensive usage that 208 was subjected to

Am I the only one who hates the infotainment system on this car? The screen is resistive touch so it's difficult to press stuff, and why is the trip info only displayed on the infotainment?!? Everything else about this car is great (except the door sounds, they sound empty) but I can't stand the infotainment system.

I own this car, and it feels very unnatural to go above the speed of 115 ish, as the engine makes so much noise at 3K RPM. Is this something to worry about? Or can I cruise along at 3.5K RPM at 120 kph?

the peak of power on this car is at 4k RPM so you can go at 120 kph. As for the noise its normal for Peugeot. The noise canceling is not the best.

This car was going 120km on 2000rpms so i would say that you dont have the same engine as this car

French cars are bad seen here in Brazil for the high cost of parts and very problematic suspension, unfortunately the asphalt does not help as I see in this video

They seem to have issues with strut mounts. I've had them replaced but I think one of the replacement mounts is faulty, though not as bad as previously. Moving off from stationary with a high degree of steering angle *should* highlight which mount is at fault, in my case the offside/right. As you said though, the quality of the road surface can't be helping.

Estimados, tuve uno igual, petrolero, automático , año 2015, el tema es que ese auto tiene embriague, disco y un volante de masa, a los 100.000 kms comenzó con un pequeño tirón luego ya no era sostenible, esto sucedía cuando iniciaba la marcha, cuento corto la reparación en la Peugeot se Valdivia nos salía $2.000.000.- con eso se nos fue el ahorro de combustible.
