toyota auris 2016 also comes with a turbo charged 1200cc engine with almost the same price tag...but with 4 cylinders

This is in similar range to a Golf, the specs are closer to a Golf rather than an Axela.

Treat it as a wear item and it will be reliable. Do a change with the latest revision belt and ensure to only use synthetic oil that meets PSA standard B71 2312 and you can get at least 50,000 kms in our conditions ( accounting for heat, dust and traffic)

@canversations, I have this specific car :) Now the problem is, It has annoying "service" light which I have cleared twice, Ikarudi tena haha. Then Parts are quite expensive, and unvailable for this facelifted 308, Hahaha, cant tell how many times have looked for front break pads in nairobi.

@@CARNVERSATIONS Yes, I went to Impala yesterday, they said, this specific model (With longer front break pads) is not available. Also Shammas didn't have this one :( interestingly, Peugeot Kenya also did not have the break pads, and sadly the one am using now are already squeaking; they might mess up my disk :( , Auto-express said they might get me one tomorrow, Let me see how it goes 🤞. Also am also willing to understand how I can go around some error am getting "Too many starts error" which now triggers "service" warning. Been suspecting the start stop thing, i also need to know if this can be disabled permanently.

@@CARNVERSATIONS If you working on bringing Peugeot parts, consider 308's, especially the most recent 2015 one, the parts a a bit different. Any insights on home remedy for unreasonable "service" light?. For 308 users; Total Quartz 9000 is the best oil for this Car.

Yes, it's called the 408. However, it's not a direct successor to the 407, which was a D or medium segment. Having clarified this, you should know that there are three vehicles with the same identification plate: • T73: Sedan, derived from the eighth generation (T7) of 308 and manufactured (T73F) until 2021. • T93: Sedan, derived from the ninth generation (T9) of 308, this year its second restyling (T93RR) was presented. • P54: Crossover, derived from the tenth generation (P5) of 308, also introduced this year.

It passes on the features and looks. The engine is a big concern. Small 1200 turbo engine cannot be compared to Axela's 1500 naturally aspirated engine, longevity, Axela will win.
