This is the all-new Peugeot 408. Not quite an SUV, not quite a hatchback, not quite a saloon! So what is it?! The 408 is a very stylish in-betweener!
When it comes to engine selection, it's very simple. The entry-level comes with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol that pumps 130hp, and then there are two plug-in hybrids, with the range-topper being a 1.6-litre turbo petrol coupled with an electric motor which can deliver 225hp. It can also drive for up to 40 miles on electric power alone. Just recently, Peugeot has launched the electric version of the 408.

No. I have not heard anything good about Stellantis recently. Problems and only trying the good old one car for all badges (Jeep, Dodge Peugeot, Citroën and Alfa Romeo).

I really like them. They are wonderful looking, especially in certain colours, like that one. I wonder though if I was to buy a new car, around that price, is the Kia Sportage better.

A big YES for ! The 408 looks sensational. Top design. Looks very premium and somewhat futuristic. I saw one the other day, it looks absolutely spectacular. I heard it drives very well, so yes yes yes.

Another great review Anna. This is a stylish car with plenty of French flare for those who want to get from A to B in comfort with decent economy. 0 to 100 Kph may not ne the fastest but on most roads that I drive I'd be lucky to get to 50 before getting stuck behind another vehicle. Great video and production as always.

Great review! I think the primary reason for buying this car is because of the great design. Other qualities are pretty much unremarkable. But hey, sometimes good looks alone is just enough.

Well what a nice surprise to see you video out today. I was just going to go out then I got a notification that this video just come out so I have to watch it as it would be rude not to. Fantastic review Anna. I think Peugeot really nailed it with the looks of the 408. I really love the futuristic/ space age exterior looks. A lot different looks to any other Peugeot but yet still keeping the Peugeot looks. The 408 doesn't disappoint when you see then in the flesh. The interior looks great at parts and not so great at others but like you said it wasn't the high trim model. It's looks like it excited with the performance as there wasn't a big smile from you face or you laughing or giggling. But with the looks of the 408 you would expect some more of a get up and go about it, perhaps the the hybrids are more punchier performance. Brilliant video and some nice locations. Well all the best Anna. :-)

Well I remember the first videos which I thought were absolutely fabulous and they were Fast forward and everything is better, much better except Anna Yes the filming editing and just about every aspect is an unbelievable standard but the model the Princess the expert , she’s stayed the same youthful exuberant excitable girl throughout There will never be a car reviewed by Anna I won’t watch , ever Well done And that’s enough about the 408 Lovely ❤

We had Peugeot as Company cars in the 1990’s and they were very good despite expectations…the old 405 Estate was a very good car indeed. Now…they try hard with design and have much to offer…but here in the U.K. they nearly all end up as “Motability scheme” cars so not actually sold but leased to infirm/disabled/ family owners. They are good cars….but few private buyers actually own one. They deserve to be successful as they certainly do try hard.🤔🤔🙂🙂🙂

Make it lower, like what a proper sedan should be, less screen, maybe have a diesel offer since the petrol's consumption is a bit high without so great performances, and I would love it with no reserve.

Very unique car, but I'm afraid the small engine will always likely be under stress which will cause it to deteriorate faster. I don't understand the love story between Peugeot and the 1.2L engines...
