Peugeot Partner Fuel Leak From Fuel Tank Area, "Fuel Filler Pipe Replacement"

The Van Was Dripping Diesel When The Tank Was Full, How To Replace Split Pipe.
The fuel was leaking from the side of the fuel tank as the diesel ran down the filler pipe, the new hose needed to be ordered from the main dealer as no aftermarket part was available, the price was £22 which was not too bad.

Hello, my vehicle's problem is with the other flexible hose. It leaks fuel from the connection point above. Although the tank is half full, fuel drips continuously when my vehicle stops. I changed the main part where the fuel pump enters. I installed the hose, but the buttoned part at the end of the hose cracked again. I replaced the cracked white small pipe at the end of that part with an iron of the same size. But the dripping problem continues. Is there a problem with the flexible hose? I would be very happy if you could help. (6:23 I'm talking about the flexible hose next to the hose you pointed to.)

I seem to have a drip on flexipipe at bottom. Tank half full. Do you know if theres a valve in it. Have not removed panel as yet cos got broken ribs😎gotta wait few weeks. Its only wet when vehicle running and at bottom of flexipipe no tell tale from either side of flexi?

@@aaanton11 hi just wanted to say further thanks. Saved me a packet. Just by showing me how to remove wheel liner I was able to eventually identify my problem. The fuel pipe was fine but just the vent pipe lower wet. . Stationary on drive no leak, go for a drive dripping like crazy just at bottom of corrugated vent pipe. I am thinking this is tank out job,, have Togo to a garage. On pulling vent pipe off I noticed a tiny pin prick hole in vent pipe which is solid pipe over a metre long from the filler to the top of the tank.. without you showing me how to expose it and giving me confidence to tear it down I would have booked it into garage. My solution was .. the vent pipe is corrugated so cant cut and insert new pipe, so couldn’t find a glue to stick plastic in fuel conditions. So I got an o ring the same width as the dent in the corrugation and cable tied it over the indent forming like an inner tube. Job done , no leak. Going to see if there’s any type of sealant glue as dont want to renew whole tube as tank has to drop/ come off. Barry my berlingo is 17 yrs old and still running lovely but a major repair at a garage may mean his end. Just wanted to say I have used your vlogs to same myself money on several vehicles esp aygo types as daughters have them and the conservatory roof one. I am no mechanic but the simple clarity and explanations are superb. Loved the Bewdley dog weekend too as I grew up there. Havent put liner back in yet, still observing pipe. But would never have ripped old one out with such confidence without your vlog. Thanks thanks thanks.
