Like many of you, it reminds me of my children holding their siblings for the first time. My 1st son is only 18 months older than his brother and held him for 30 seconds, and the scooting off the sofa like saying “okay that’s enough”. Whereas my second som is 3 years older and I tried reasoning with him that if the baby had to go I would too, and he seem to be okay with that. Needless to say it took time for him to change his mind. But son 3 even though at the time was not diagnosed with ADHA did not talk until he was 2 1/2 when his brother was born. He would let his brother crawl all over him. I’ll never know if it was because he was being a nice brother or afraid of what might happen if he harmed his brother. His brother was about 1-1/12 and he hit him, I asked and as always it was “I don’t know “. They get along wonderfully now, but I do miss those days. The coos, the bond between mother and child. Thank you for sharing, it’s been fun watching.

Omg you are acting like they slapped the baby or something. I'm sure the baby got over it within 5 seconds. And I'm pretty sure the baby won't even remember it by the time it grows up. I swear people are too sensitive now of days!
