So, that last one is really sad, and I wish they'd listened closer to the video. She actually did that to herself BECAUSE doctors refused to give her more surgery. She started injecting cooking oils into her face at home. The doctors actually had her best interests at heart. Her name is Hang Mioku.

I think doctors actually do that. Many doctors refuse, therefore these people often have to search for doctors who don't care about reputation and that's when fuck ups happen. There was an actual case where an illegal "doctor" injected cement in someone's face to shape it.

You can tell that lady would have still looked beautiful even if she was aging naturally, you could just tell. It's crazy when people get so crazy that they can't see they're already beautiful but in pursuit of beauty make themselves ugly.

Really beautiful people don't take aging well. Think of the gorgeous older women and men that have messed up their faces with plastic surgery. If someone grows up super attractive all their life, it's like they can't handle when aging finally starts

I read about this girl who was convinced her nose was too big, when it wasn't. She was obsessing to the point she had some kind of dysmorphia, and begging for an unneeded surgery. So doctors finally decided to put her under, and made a little nick in the skin on the bridge of her nose, put bandages on, and told her to go home and let it heal. Upon her follow up, she explained how happy she was that her nose looked so much better. In reality, nothing was done to change her nose at all. She had imaged the entire thing, including that it was looking better

“Why did the doctors go that far?” For the Korean woman, the doctors DID stop - but she home injected herself with cooking oil when cut off from the silicone, and that (reaction to cooking oil) was what led to the huge swelling - doctors did not do that, and donated their time repeatedly to try and fix the cooking oil damage.

I don’t think doctors are at fault, i mean the real doctors/holistic doctors would never do extreme plastic surgery for their patients. It’s either fake doctors/doctors who chase for money. A real doctor would care n help their patients. The patients who’s obsessed of their looks would do this and it can be bcause of their mental health issues.

Definitely agree on Felix' philosophy. I could have done weightloss surgery when i weighed 140kg. But i got my act together after some ups and downs, and worked myself down to currently weighing 78kg and looking pretty fit. If i would have gotten the surgery, i wouldn't have earned that weightloss. I wouldnt be super proud of myself, and nowhere near as confident in my ability to get through stuff even when it gets hard.

The others just kept getting more surgery and that's why they look like that. The lady at the end was getting botox but when they refused to do more she did it herself with some dodgy stuff or something and it went wrong, completely deformed her because it was poison or something :o Whereas the others (and Ollie too) are _choosing_ to look the way they do, and they think they look great! D: it's a bit different when something has genuinely gone wrong though, must be horrible. Just another reason to be grateful for what we already have!

I remember when the Try Guys 'tried' plastic surgery (not really) and Eugene (the one known for his insanely good looks, competitive and overaciever-persona) was listing off all the things that were 'wrong' to him. The doctor disagreed and said there wasn't really anything to change, maybe a rhinoplasty procedure to lower the nose bridge. Eugene listed off his forehead, his chin, his eyes, his nose, etc. I agree I think there should be some sort of screening procedure implemented somewhere in this system of plastic surgery procedures.

Absolutely. It's not just doctors, dentists do this too grinding down people's teeth to stick veneers on them. If I was in charge, I would have a board that reviews the outcome and quality of optional cosmetic surgery, and if they decide "Doctor X has messed up your face", Doctor X gets struck off.

Everyone is born with a special apearance it should not matter how you look and there should not be a good and a bad appearance, because it truly doesnt matter. I look ugly and i know it, but I get good grades and im athletic so naturally people respects me. Instead of wanting to look better you should focus on changing stuff about yourself that truly matters, so you can evolve as a person get more confident and live a better life.

The problem with doctors is that any reasonable doctor will refuse to do potentially harmfull surgeries or just stops after a certain point, but you will always find some egoistic and money-oriented doctor who will do whatever for the right ammount

@@yourfirend7054 You can't. It's kinda hard to like something you don't like. Maybe do different kind of exercises that aren't as boring as lifting weights for example? Try to hire a trainer, or exercise with a friend. Try going hiking. Listen to music while you exercise, or use dance as an exercise.

And at the same time, where serious mental illnesses and body mutilation are considered someone's "identity", and any attempt to dissuade or fail to be sufficiently enthusiastic about it results in very real possibility of censorship, financial ruin, and social shaming.

Not gonna lie, I was looking into getting facial fillers and I noticed that NONE of the doctors had fillers or any kind of facial surgery. That was a massive red flag for me.

Most people do go to a therapist or a physiatrist beforehand... why do you all assume they don't? Therapy isn't magic. Sometimes it doesn't work.

Doctors should have the obligation to recommend or ask their patients to get a psychiatrist first before doing anything to their body as Ken brings up this good point.

Disagree it's their body. Majority aren't hurting anyone by doing so...so a dangerous precident could be set..if u wanted to do something imagine having to validate and verify and jump through hoops which make it worse for that person. I dont agrew with doing anything yourself without seeing a doctor, your general practitioners etc

@@Dylan-en4wg I absolutely think there should be a psychological evaluation of a person. For example, if someone is bipolar and having a manic episode, they shouldn’t be allowed cosmetic plastic surgery when they’re manic. It’s like getting a tattoo but much more permanent and invasive. Tattoo artists have a right, actually an obligation, to make sure their client is safe, sane, and consenting. It should be the safe for doctors, but even more strict. If you need doctors’ evaluation to take prescription medication and to medically transition, it should be the same for cosmetic surgery.

@@richardkim2711 a lot of what you have said is lies, if someone is injecting themselves with cooking oil they should be sectioned. how about mandatory psych evaluations before cosmetic surgery since you're paying hundreds of thousands all ready. Models are not the issue. These people are obviously not trying to look like models. 2 are trying to look like literal toys and the others have obsessively altered their faces to the point of disfigurement. Mental health is the issue not models.

Protip: the reason why they tell people with metal pins, screws, and plates not to get MRIs is not because the metal will fly out due to the magnetic fields of the MRI, but because the MRI uses microwaves to see what's in your body... Sort of how you can't put a metal spoon in your actual microwave at home. The microwaves will cause the metal in you to heat up and cook you from the inside out.

@@tabora_ i have minor scoliosis that causes me quite a bit of chronic pain (ontop of other issues.) Working out helpped it a lot too, strengthening the muscles around the spine to protect it
