Hi Becky, I had a question. I'm working on the Aztec Bloom kit, specifically the Lemon Mist ring. This is my first time doing peyote but I'm following your directions and it's working out nicely. My only problem is I think I saved too much thread on the tail end (to use when I come to the end of the odd row like you suggested) and now I've only got 3" left on my working thread side to try and zip up the ring. Before I go through the process of adding more thread, can I use the thread I'd allowed for the tail to zip up the ring or do I have to use the working thread? I wasn't sure if I could just use the tail thread and make sure I knot the two together when I got to the other end where they'll meet (if I zip it up). Thanks for any help. And thanks for the video tutorial. It's been a big help.

You could use the tail thread, just weave it through the beads into position to zip up the end.

What is the difference between the togo aikos & reg toho seed beads?? Can they be used together?

Hi there. regular TOHO seed beads are more rounded in shape, as you can see here: artbeads.com/jewelry-supplies/toho-bead-round-80-opaque-shiny-jet-black/ TOHO Aikos are cylinder seed beads made with state-of-the-art machinery to be super precise and uniform, so they will line up nicer in stitches and are more consistent. They look like this: artbeads.com/toho-aiko-11-0-opaque-matte-pastel-light-lilac-precision-cylinder-seed-beads-4g-pack/ You can use them together in brick stitch patterns like this: artbeads.com/design-studio/frosted-lane-beaded-brick-stitch-cuff-bracelet/ or in freeform peyote. Me and peyote have a love hate relationship. 😂 I love to hate it some times. As for American dolls ya my sis in law makes their clothes all the time. lol 😂she’s finally has granddaughters to make them for, the older is the step granddaughter and using to interested in dolls and well the younger granddaughter is only 2 months old. 😂😂😂😂 so it will be a while. I do have to ask I go all the time to order beads why is the site always so low on beads. Are they selling out and selling the company or what this isn’t the first time I’ve had this problem. 😢😢😢 makes me sad.
