I used to work as a security officer screening people with metal detectors and every time I had to screen kids they always had phones and shit, all types of materialistic shit… anyways this one time this lil dude walked in and when he emptied out his belongings he didn’t have shit but a pen and notebook… I was tripping because you would expect the younger generations to have a phone since they’re stuck to them… but nah. I asked lil bro “aye where’s your phone at bro?”… he said “don’t need one, I just need my notebook to write down my thoughts”… that shit stuck with me to this day… sometimes all you need is a pen and paper…
