Peyton Manning fought back tears when talking about his friend and basketball legend Pat Summitt.

Manning wasn't exaggerating when he said that Summitt changed the history of her sport. She became the head coach at UT as a first-year graduate student because the other (and only full-time) coach quit, and didn't get a normal coaching contract until her third year. That would be unthinkable now, and Summitt is the biggest reason it is unthinkable.

Yeah even if she didn’t remember him in her declining stage, she was just as respectful to Peyton as she was before the disease.
