PFD Engine 43, Ladder 9 & Medic 7 Responding

11 жыл бұрын3.9.13 Philadelphia Fire Department Engine 43, using spare Engine 903, Ladder 9, and Medic 7 responding to what appeared to be a medical assignment on I-76. Engine 903 is a 1995 KME (EX-Engine 10), Ladder 9 is a 2010 Spartan/LTI, and Medic 7 is a 2010 Ford/Horton. Engine 43, normally Squrt 43, runs a 1998 ALF 54' (EX-Squrt 57). Squrt 43, Ladder 9 and Medic 7 are housed together, along with ES 3, at 21st and Market Streets in Center City Philadelphia.

Yep. They are now running a hand-me-down ALF Squrt. As the Ladder is pulling out you can see it in the back. They had picked it up from the shop yesterday and they switched over the equipment this afternoon.

+Marloo Stanfield The Seagrave Squrts havent been around for a while. The truck in the back of the station is an ALF and is Squrt 43's frontline apparatus. They had just picked it up from the shop the day before and hadn't switched over. The only spare Squrt right now is Squrt 257 which is a 1998 ALF just like that one.

Looking at all the comments and stuff, I think this video got botted or something, 15 million views is way over the 2.7M of the next most popular video, and then a lot of the comments were made recently and are all foreign or gibberish. I honestly didn’t even recall this video having 15 million views ever, I don’t think Demonracer or JJ have this many views on their highest viewed video, that’s off the top of my head though

It's only because it was on a highway. They dispatch a Ladder company on all ems and fires calls on a highway as a safety company to block traffic so that the medic and/or the Engine can get the job done.

Yup. It was on the expressway so the Engine goes with the Medic unit for the EMS call and the Ladder acts as a safety company by blocking traffic.

Why send a truck AND an engine on an ems run? In Columbus, if it's an ALS run, all you get is an engine & a medic. BLS just gets the medic.
