Goff's contract will look 14:59 like a bargain in two years, as we now know (per Spotrac) that, "In 2024, Goff will earn a base salary of $2,611,000, a signing bonus of $73,000,000 and a roster bonus of $5,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $27,211,000.", which is a bargain His cap hit in 2026 is $32.6M , again a bargain for the projected QB market. His cap hit dosn't balloon until. 2026 @ $69M, followed by 2027 @ $54.6 M. However you factor it, spread over 4 seasons, its a bargain, and the balloon years can always be adjusted as dead cap $$ or void years if necessary. Sometimes we project our own NFL trauma regarding teams who have turned a corner. Maybe rhe Browns should have kept Mayfield, and let the team mature around him!!😮🤔.
