My theory: The time travelling theory is correct, but when the noobie goes back in time, all times collide and go to war, which explains why there is both a island that looks up to date maybe from the 2000's (the map that looks like a resort and the wedding map) and a d day map (from a long time ago) are being bombed with the same bombs at the same time.
