At the 2020 TOUR Championship, Dustin Johnson claimed his 23rd victory of his PGA TOUR career and the FedExCup with rounds of 67-70-64-68 to finish at 21-under at East Lake Golf Club.

The PGA TOUR heads to East Lake Golf Club, where the TOUR Championship brings the 2019-2020 PGA TOUR season to a close. DJ has become the most complete player on tour. JT & Rahm are the only other 2 players consistently on his level.

Not true, Morikawa has been more consistent than JT, no missed cuts streak spoke for itself. As for Mr Manos Espanolas, how did he do in the comp just after he became No.1, I forget.....

Can’t really be argued Dustin Johnson is the best player on the planet right now. Everybody has off weeks but when he’s got the A game nobody gets near him.

Rahm is great but not on their level. He seems like he can't put together a good round on Sunday at any major when he's in contention.

Mcilroy is the only player comparable. DJ and Mcilroy are the most consistent players of the post Tiger/Phil era. They lead in total wins and in winning consistently each year.

He shot 11 under total for the 4 days plus add the 10 shots he started with to achieve that 21 under. Xander shot 15 under total for 4 days with the 4 shots he started the tourney with for his 19 under total.

DJ put on an absolute putting clinic. He was draining everything like the hole was a foot wide. When he putts like that, he is literally unbeatable. His length matched with that short game is a dangerous combination which, if continued, will yield him many majors in the future.

@@robh316 Yes, if you don't know ANYTHING about him you think he's ok........ but there's nothing going on upstairs at all. Even sponsors won't touch him because of all the rotten things he's done and been involved in..Just read the books.

Seems like his game and his overall consistency especially on the greens have taken a huge step up when he started having his brother caddying for him. Maybe he calms him down ( who knows ) but never gets rattled anymore and have never seen someone win a Masters with the ease and consistency since Tigers early days.

Time flies😢 I used to saw the pictures of winners with trophies on the newspaper, when i was in boarding school. Now i have a smartphone and watching it how they earn trophies, it's a great feeling. Internet😀

I've been a fan of DJ for a long time. Way before he was ever world #1. I love it when he is on his game. He is unbeatable! I wish I could play a pro am with him. Or John Daily. 🤣⛳🏌️‍♂️

I think that he and or Rory of some of the best swings in golf. He has such a consistent shot, whether it be distance, and or pinpoint accuracy. Then his short game and putting or honestly unbeatable if he is in the zone and dropping puts. With his club head speed and accuracy he can drive the ball so far and be able to have 1 less shot than other players which gives him such a big advanage

I normally would like to see long drives when watching DJ highlights but it was his short game that really won it for him this week. I mean his wedge and putter were so dialed in it wasn’t funny. He’s gonna be tough to beat at the US open.

It was an amazing season on the PGA Tour, Commisioner Monahan did an outstanding work. I really don't mind that there is no crowd in Golf. If crowd are allowed, there should be a dressed code...

Tried out the reverse overlap today on the putter... and man. Super simple. Still doesn't beat my method of pinching with the interior fingers of each hand. If you're ambidextrous, try it. Complete control

If you don't mind me asking, what type of trickery or witchcraft is this. I've been adding his scores like crazy and the closest I get to -21 is -19 on a par 72. However at 4:24 the commentator mentions that he shot a level par 2nd round of 70. Did he recieve a 3 stroke lead since day one? I'm not arguing that he did not win the tournament, the numbers just don't add up to me. Would be great if someone could explain this trickery to me.

It's the new FedEx playoff format. Whoever was in 1st coming into the week started at -10, 2nd at -8 etc. They started doing this last year I believe, instead of using the points as they had previous years.

@@blakemortellaro Ummm no. Majors are not everything, and DJ has the most wins of any player in his era. He has 18 more wins than Koepka and has been far more consistent for far longer.

Sorry I just saw he started the week at -10. But I still wanna know why though? Did everyone start at -10. I'm guessing not. And once again, why? Makes absolutely no sense to me at all. I would also love to start my first round at -10, I might break par!! I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could answer this question of why did he magically start his first round at -10.

@Abullet4Bolsheviks the world rankings are based on two years worth of play. Events are given values and world ranking points are distributed to players based on their finish and the tournaments values. DJ has earned the most points over the past two years compared to anyone else. That's how he is number one in the world.
