Idk why that moment where they say goodbye is so sweet and meaningful. As a lonely kid, I often envied the other kids, saying hello and goodbye, see you tomorrow -- while I had no one to say that to. No one who'd say that to me. This show understands that value, and I feel that's at the heart of Sailor Moon 🌙✨

This clip reminded me of one of the things that I enjoyed about this show when I watched it when I was around 12/13. Those years were a very lonely time for me. I didn't have any real friends at the time. I was bullied, picked on. I loved watching these girls be real friends for each other (and do awesome saving-the-world stuff together). It was a bond I wished I had. I guess for the brief time I watched PGSM, they were my friends.

Isn't this the original story to how the creator of Sailor Moon ended up creating Sailor Moon, minus the bullying?

@@wjb4578 Yep! Naoko Takeuchi created Sailor Moon? Because she didn’t really have friends, and she ended up creating the series we all know and love by picturing a group of girls she would’ve loved being friends with.

考えてみたら、セーラームーンで亜美＆レイのこういうシーンって珍しいんだよな アニメや漫画でももっとこういう風に色んな組み合わせのキャラ描写見たかったな 第3期以降なんて内部戦士のキャラ描写自体が少なくなっていくし

It was very cute!! I would like to see Ami and Rei in those outfits anime style !! But I would like to see Ami like this with Mako she usually hangs out with her the most .and Usually Rei and Mina hang out with each other more,but when Mina is hanging out with Mako I guess Rei and Ami hang out lol

Nice to find this on YT, I have the whole show somewhere on DVDs and maybe it's time to rewatch it but for now I wanted to find this scene, it's one of the most memorable one, those two havig pure fun and Yakusoku playing in background. I remember how people made fun of many things when this show came out and yet I remember it as very pleasant and have good memories. I was watching it in my early 20's when I was living alone in different city, far from family, it was soothing.

Imagine if we got a proper new anime with good filler stuff like this to show the characters grow. I like Crystal but the inners are so dry and boring compared to the old anime and PGSM.

That is not true about the inner of crystal version because this is originally their true personality because this is from the Manga and for me the 90 version is a parody of sailor moon because all scenes are no serious me and usagi and all of the inner and outer are so immature and too much babies personality and Beryl wasn’t a human she is just a monster at all the four are just Weird and Jadeite was forgotten by the rest of the season 1 so many things are so bad in the 90 version of Sailor Moon me personally I found the crystal version and the live action more mature than the 90 version and WTF is the beginning of the season 2 why they didn’t cut the beginning filler episodes of the season two this is not necessary to put this story in the beginning of season 2 because all of the girls and Mamoru remember who they are
