RG has not yet cleared the 'developmental economics paper at trinity so he couldn't graduate. This was available on the trinity webpage with the search feature until a few years ago.. now they removed it.. of all subjects, his worst one was developmental economics, the economics of developing countries, pretty bad for someone trying to 'lead' India.

Once on bbc I saw an interesting series on Food in different parts of the world including India. When the Presenter ( can't recall his name but very unassuming) went to Greece he went to several homes ( not street food) and one of the hostesses was making Spanakopita with generous amounts of succulent spinach etc. Lot of them were shown using lot of Lemons and onion in their cooking. On the whole quite interesting.

Various Podis ( powders) and dehydrated Vegetables ( Vathal) were always made and kept by my Grandmother to be consumed mainly during monsoon. We were living in Kolkata. Made a lot of sense. Preparation of these Podis quite a laborious process. Even today during March -April ( chickenpox infection threat) tender Neem leaves are sold. Sauted with brinjals & eaten to increase immunity.
