Something keeps bringing me back to buying the onemo v1. I haven't purchased yet but the fact you both say it's your number one choice makes me consider my inner thoughts

Just watched your comparison with the McKinnon Nomatic and I'm watching your comparison of the v1 vs v2 and Lite right now and I think this will be the nail in the coffin lol. The one thing I liked about the v2 is how it is more sturdy when standing up but I'm guessing if you load the v1 with more of the heavier equipment at the bottom, it should work sort of the same? Perhaps if the cube is down there. That's probably the one thing that bothered me about v1. I prefer just about everything else on the compartments on the v1 and everything else much more. They are small changes like with the battery compartment, but since this'll be the most "expensive" bag for my equipment I've bought, it's gotta be just right!

Does it fit the DJI rs3 gimbal in the front pocket of the Onemo Lite 22L bag?

The one thing I don't like about the original onemo backpack is that the upper half of the inside has a biggish slope to it making it kind of weird to configure the dividers and fit things on the top. Are the version 2 bags a little straighter or still have that slope?

So, the OneMo Lite is more compact than the OneMo 2 without expansion? I really want the waist straps, double and lateral quick access from the OneMo 2, but I'm worried that it could be too bulky and problematic to take in a plane.

I am looking to get new bag and my top choice is either Onemo or Onemo2 and I am having hard time picking between the 2. my 3rd choice is vsgo 25l and its a hard choice because from functional standpoint and internal layout and stuff, the Onemo bags are the choice. So much so they are still my leading choice over the vsgo but I think the outside of Onemo bag is super boring and underwhelming. Is the material difference between the 2 Onemo bags enough to choose 1 over the other?

Yes but would have been helpful to name the bag they were referring to rather than just pointing to it. As can get confused over which is which after a while

Thanks for sharing your views. I'm struggling to decide between the Onemo Lite and the Onemo 2. The ability to have a larger front pouch and customizable ways of using the Onemo 2 is such a temptation. But the weight is a concern.

Honestly I prefer the Onemo lite and the original Onemo over the Onemo v2. Thats not to say it’s not a great bag but when I had the choice I kept the lite and the original and sold the v2. Thanks so much for sharing! Let us know which one you get!

I prefer the lite 100%! I have both the R5C and C70 in the lite with lens on (14-35 on the C70 and 70-200 on the R5C). Build and design are superior on this backpack. The OneMo 2 is still nice but I will probably sell it this summer. Thanks for commenting!

I know no one will ever believe this but I never ever heard of Linus’ Tech Tips when we started. The other irony is in Swedish Linus isn’t pronounced the way we do in English ( we are in Sweden mostly working in Swedish). So none of the guys made the connection either. For what it’s worth I love Linus’ Tech tips now! Again I don’t expect anyone to believe it but it is true haha!
