Hi, 200 USD max value in your bagages its almost not possible .. Custums department schould work together with Tourisim and immigration departments to try get a really easy, flexibel and logical roles for the visitors to welcoming them as it simply schould be ..

Because I guess they know that your following the rule as your willing to declare anything you ganno bring, but if your trying to hide without declaring it for sure they will do something ,it seems like they give consideration upon your visit 🙂

you're right, me too... I never declared mine since they are for my personal use and they are all used. I never heard about this rule before, actually, this is the first time I heard about it. I just came back from my trip on Dec 18. My cellphone and iPad pro exceed that threshold too. I wonder when exactly this new rule was implemented.

This is exactly my question too. I am so confused whether or not to declare these devices for personal use. I will be going to the ph the first of March.

The key is "personal use". My gaming laptop (I'm from the UK) alone is in the region of PHP 90,000 but its my personal machine. No ones gonna bother if you have a lappy and 2 cellphones. They will only sit up and take note if they find 6 Samsung flagship phones , 2 laptops and 5 iPads in a suitcase. Saying "personal use" now wont work!

Hi, you can't bring seeds or plamt materials unless you have a permit from the proper govt agency.

My personal experience is that each person should fill out their own form, always. I have been to more than 100 countries in the last 30 years. Sometimes alone sometimes with family and/or friends and have seen just about everything that can happen in customs lol 😂. One advantage of using separate forms is quantities of items with limits. You would think if you are arriving with your spouse the customs officer would simply double the limit of those items. It depends on the customs officer you are dealing with at the time. This is especially true in countries outside of the west (Asia, Africa & S.A.). Another advantage is being able to get into separate lines when making your way through customs. Sometimes it is much faster that way. Depending on who you are traveling with, you might not want to have you and your luggage combined with theirs. If a customs officer decides to do a thorough search of your luggage and/or the luggage of the person you are traveling with, they will search both. Also, if they find ANYTHING they don’t like, you are both in trouble. So I highly recommend that you fill out separate forms and remember to them you are a foreigner wanting to enter THEIR country. Most customs officers are very suspicious people especially if they have been doing it for awhile. I hope this helps 😊 Cheers

@@josiemacasaet839 bawal po talaga meats especially raw, need ng permit. If youre going to declare it either they will confiscate it or…just let u go lalo na if small quantities lang. Like i said in this video, lenient masyado customs natin.
