फास्फोरस, पौधों के लिए आवश्यक 17 तत्वों में से प्रमुख हैं|फास्फोरस के द्वारा पौधों से अधिक उत्पादन प्राप्त किया जाता हैं|फास्फोरस तत्व फसलों की ऊर्जा के प्रमुख स्त्रोतों में से एक माना जाता हैं| फास्फोरस फसलों की प्रारंभिक बढ़वार में अतिआवश्यक हैं, इसलिए फास्फोरस को फसलों में बेसल देना चाहिए|फास्फोरस के प्रमुख कार्य जैसे बीज के अंकुरण में सहायक, प्रारंभिक वृद्धि में सहायक, जड़ों एवं तनों की मजबुती में सहायक|फास्फोरस फुल, फल बीज के निकलने एवं उनकें भार को बढ़ाने में भी अतिआवश्यक हैं|
फास्फोरस की कमी से पौधें बोने, पत्तियाँ छोटी, मोटी एवं बैगनी हो जाती हैं|पौधा कमजोर होकर जीवन चक्र पुर्ण नहीं कर पाता हैं|फास्फोरस की अधिकता से खेत में जमा हो जाता है साथ ही महत्वपूर्ण सुक्ष्म पौधे तत्व जींक की कमी खेतों में हो जातीं हैं|
Phosphorus is the most important Plant Element among the 17 essential elements of the Plant. There is maximum production may be obtain through Phosphorus in the field. Phosphorus is the Energy Currency of the plant. Phosphorus provides ATP during the crop growing Period. Phosphorus provides Strength to the Root as well as Stem. Phosphorus takes part in the fibrous root development of the plant. Afet Using the Phosphorus it Increases Flowers Number, Fruit Number and Their Weight also. Leaves become short and thick in Phosphorus deficient Plant. Plants become weaker and don't complete their life cycle easily. When Higer Doses of applied Phosphorus, it deposits in the soil and shows the Deficiency Symptoms of Zinc Zn Nutrient.
