These highly guided rockets are the only ones that the Philippines should buy instead of Tanks and helicopters. Tanks and Helicopters (things of the past) can be brought down by cheap MANPADS. WHEREAS HIMARS AND ATCMS ARE HIGHLY TECHNOLOGICAL WEAPONS THAT CAN DO SEVERAL ROLES. IT CAN BE ANTI-SHIPS (which China is holding numerical numbers) as well as against mobile mechanized troops.

Nope may malaking pinagkaiba. Sa Ukraine halos wla tlgang dagat so yung himars pwede targetin kapag nahanap.. dto sa pinas dadaan muna sa tubig yung china pra kung gusto nila mag landing ng tangke , so mas effective yung himars , kelangan lng ng surface to air missiles kung susubukan ng china na manggaling sa ere ang atake..kapag tumagal to mas madami ma acquire ang pinas , dun na mhihirapan lalo ang china..kaya todo kayod sila disinformation campaign nila para madaming matakot kaso lang mas madami ng nkka intindi at hindi takot kht ano png propaganda ng china tulad na lng ng sinasabi mo na prang Ukraine..

Kung gagamitin ng Pilipinas ang ginagastos sa walang kabuluhang na paghahanda sa gyera laban sa Tsina para sa mga kakailangan ng mga Pilipino na arawaraw ay tuloy ang kahirapan, bubuti ang buhay ng mga Pinoy. I am very saddened by this war mongering mindsets of Philippine leaders who are now emboldened to seek confrontation because they believe America will defend Philippines, in case of war with China. Remember, the USA has a record of creating death and destruction in many parts of the world and currently the USA is complicit in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Other ASEAN countries have peaceful relations with China and engaging in economic development and people's lives are improving. I hope the Philippines will foster friendship and prosperity with China, and not engage in wasteful military preparations in alliance with the USA which has always instigated wars in many parts of the world.

@@RomParaniWhat Philippine sovereignty are you referring to? Sovereignty extends only 12 nautical miles from shores. Exclusive Economic Zones extend from 200 nmi and is regarded in UNCLOS as referring to sovereign rights to resources within EEZs. Since EEZs can overlap, the practice is for bilateral agreements to delineate these EEZs. China has legitimate historical claims to archipelagic islands, such as the Sprayleys and there archival records in France and Britain attesting to this fact. Read the research by Professor Carty about sovereignty issues in the South China Sea showing acknowledgement by French and British officials that the islands in certain areas of the SCS ARE Chinese territories. IMHO the 2016 Arbitral Decision is null and void, as it was China's legitimate prerogative not to participate in the proceedings. So, what sovereignty are you talking about?

I think many people misunderstood proximity and EEZ with sovereignty; and, 2016 arbitrary is valid even though China didn't participated. At least, someone who did some homework like you knows the facts. I agree that Philippines should focus more on boosting the economy. then improve education and technology. Finally, strengthen the military to deter attacks. That's how China and Singapore grew. China has overlapping claim with other ASEAN like Vietnam, but, they manage it amicably with negotiations. Sadly Philippines, Japan and South Korea are within China reach before USA can support "IF" they will. Most likely it will be a lopsided war with countless civilians bloodshed. Slight different from land war in UKraine when mostly soldiers involved. is it worth to die as proxies instead of defending homeland? I hope your rational thinking will spread across
