I have no idea why, but the speed of the phantom has been buffed. All of a sudden it has more speed after you drop the teleporting blinker for your ability start. We load up nitro units and immune amplifiers PLUS the speed skills. And it is hilariously fast. This thing runs like an angry toddler with super speed. We load up 2 phantoms and take them into champion league. Lets find out how effective the phantom is, with the BUFF. Boom ⚡️

Flying bots don't have wind resistance so flyers have unlimited speed but runners have a speed that can't be surpassed

Predator, you still can't really damage the Seraph in flight even after the nerf. The update says "Forcefield damage mitigation points get redistributed between the ability phases. The overall amount of absorbed damage remains the same." It still has 90% resistance while flying.

The immunity during its ability would make it too OP as a beacon runner, as it couldn't be locked down. Imagine a Loki with EMP, Suppression, Lock Down, Freeze, etc. Immunity.

Funny thing is that seraphs actually can break the sound barrier with a speed skill and 5 kephrie boost and nitro units it can parcour 1000 meters in less than 3 seconds wiche is faster than sound

Nice observation. I have suggested that Seraph should slow down by 10% for every simultaneous lightning bolt it is shooting out towards an enemy, both to balance the built-in weapon and the speed. Before that I had suggested that the speed should be reduced by the amount of resistance it's forcefield has at a given moment, but I didn't realize that probably wouldn't have worked too well since the forcefield never reaches 0%.

im pretty sure with the new engine expert skill on the seraph with victoria B. It literally cant go any faster... even if a khepri boosts it. Its capped by pixonic lol

Phantom was a monster before Pixonic nerfed it. Ran Corona and Halo on mine. Super fun bot to play but buff is not enough to make it relevant in today's game.

it used to have 50% resistance while in ability i believe but it got nerfed to 33 defence points which was the biggest nerf at that time

It's ok. If running around with speeds that seem to glitch out the robot's legs is what it takes to compete in "today's game", I would prefer that other robots get their speed/firepower nerfed, rather than buffing Phantom or anything.

@@mandolorion8456 nice setup there mate! i run mine with 2 blazes(MK2LV5) and 1 igniter (MK3) 1 maxed repair amp nuc amp and nitro, unfortunately, my nitro unit is not maxed YET!

I’m currently running the ao Ming dazzler/lantern in champion league. It’s fragile but deadly. You had lots of ao Ming’s in your matches. 2nd match your teammates were rubbish.

No, Almost every robot has stealth now. Raven will get stealth so no. Maybe a pilot that makes it immune to anything.

Angler! Needs an urgent nerf an s clan player yesterday had 17 kills and 10M damage just buy using 2 Anglers (ability, phase shift, shield, ability) can’t kill it

Since test server it was suggested to at least make it possible to apply slow-down and suppression (without damage) to Angler in its ability when those effects come in the form of areas of effects (like Invader's suppression and gravity amplifier). After all, phase shift wasn't meant to be a mode in which one could concurrently deal damage and it seems very straightforward that IF a robot does give up that aspect of phase shift's intangibility, then the robot's surroundings should be able to affect it proportionately.

For you younger players. It's not always about meta. You will never keep up. Sometimes it's about COUNTERING meta, with little used dirty tricks. With the drones and mods available these days most old robots are actually viable again. I've ran a maxed rayker for two months now to counter the seraphs and other flyers.

My Cryptic Fenrir with Bernadette pilot is still a beast. I run 2x Havoc and Puncher. All weapons and bot are mk3 and pilot is Colonel rank.

I used to like watchin your vids. I was watching before you included video of yourself. But its gotten pretty hard to watch you. Not guna lie.
