I remember Starbucks not giving my mother her debit card back after ordering. The employee literally called my mom “dramatic” when she essentially tried to steal my mom’s debit card.

I worked Wendy's for 4 years. We were always understaffed. Oftentimes, I would be left on the counter without any help. Every time the door buzzed, I felt my blood pressure spike. It was an awful place to work.

my wife worked at a mcdonald's for a VERY little while a few years ago and it was literally the worst job experience of her life. apparently her manager was an awful jerk who literally yelled at employees in front of customers...i'm glad my wife got outta there pretty quick. she's got a fairly high paying office job now and i'm so incredibly proud of her 💕 tbh the wendy's over where we live is actually quite nice! they've messed up a couple times but it's always a fast and pleasant experience, the employees are really nice

I actually did work at Wendy's for like six weeks at max, and I think that the reason for the problems listed for Wendy's is because of how they treat their staff. Literally the only way I would know what my schedule was was to text my boss. I know because I went in the office on one of my many days off that I had to figure out why I had so many days off and it was because I wasn't listed anywhere. It was almost as if they forgotten about me completely. I didn't get a single break on the rare occasions that I did work, it constantly felt like I was being rushed, and training is just a massive joke. I barely knew how to do anything my first day being out of training.

I don't go to Wendy's very often, but I definitely do a couple times a year or so, and I've only ever visited one location, the one nearest to me. I've never experienced a wrong order, cold food, dirty eating areas, or rude staff. The only problem with it are the bizarre customers you get in there. Every time I go it seems one of the costumers threatens one of the cashiers for no reason. It's bizarre and I feel awful for the staff working there.

Fast food places really come and go. For a while McDonalds in my area was very poorly maintained. But as of 2 or 3 years ago the whole building was redone, the food taste better and everything is clean now. However at the same time, a TacoBell next to where I work has seemingly gone downhill. Me and my father will sometimes go there and we've noticed it's gotten very bad lately. What was once the friendliest place to eat has turned very bad with people struggling to take orders, food being poorly made or even cold right out the gate, and almost never getting food there right. It's gotten so bad that now I only order tacos, and only to go so I can microwave them at home as a snack. Just last time I was there I waited about 35 minutes for a party pack of tacos to snack on over a couple days with the family as we do enjoy them. There was almost no one in the store, maybe 6 people, and 3 of them were up there saying they didn't get their full order or food they got was wrong. This wasn't a lunch rush or anything at all, just a casual afternoon between lunch and dinner. That said I still really like their breakfast foods, but I've learned to make my own as of late just because the quality is better, and often a lot cheaper too for some reason. I think I've just always guessed that if a place does really well like the old Tacobell it gets flooded by people, and when that happens workers are put under a lot of stress. And then over time that can wear on people and it can really go to crap. just my theory cause I seen that happen twice now in my area, with this TacoBell, and with a Burger King nearby. I'm very glad I rarely eat fast food

I actually had a great experience on my local Wendy's near my college. My grandmother and I always go through whenever I have time to spare. Staff was a little under but they got the job done and my food is always correct heck they got ice and napkins. And the staff's behavior is sometimes neutral but a little uplifting when my grandmother cheers them up with a joke or two. 😁👍

I recently walked into a familiar Wendys that still has the 2000s' decor and not the new kind others do, and when I went to order there were only two people staffed. One at the counter and one doing cleaning, and I swear the cleaning one was the one who took my order. But in spite of all that, the burger and fries I asked for were absolutely fine, tasty and worth the money. I'll always go back no matter what others say.

I was one of those Domino's workers for 2 years. It was absolute hell on Earth, customers would regularly abuse us when calling on the phone and the management was just as hostile.

I've had some wrong orders for Wendys in the past but not often enough to be concerned. No, what concerns me is how understaffed every location of both Wendys and Mcdonalds are. I only usually see under 6 people working at most locations. The smallest Wendys near me had 3 people but, to be fair, the working space itself was small there so... I've never gotten rude employees, just ones who have to deal with a lot of orders and look kinda depressed.

I can't say I've had many bad experiences at fast food places. Years ago, when Burger King was pushing their "Have it your way" campaign, I decided to try getting a custom "burger". I ordered a cheeseburger with just bread and cheese, nothing else. It seemed pretty simple to me, but I guess when the folk in the kitchen are used to making the same burgers over and over again, muscle memory takes over. The cashier was really nice about it. After they got it massively wrong 3 times in a row, she made it for me personally...and still got it wrong. I didn't have the heart to tell her she'd messed it up too, so I just called it good enough and thanked her. I'm not a fan of Starbuck's coffee, at least not the way they prepare it. I'm not a fan of candy coffee (that's what I call it when they have all that syrup mixed in) and prefer my coffee plain. When I'd order plain coffee, it tasted brackish and burnt. So, when I'm with someone who wants to go to Starbucks, I just order tea. One thing Starbucks did that was very nice was they sent lots of their coffee to deployed locations during the 2nd Gulf War. It was better than the stuff available in the dining facilities and when brewed properly, it tastes pretty good.

I actually personally work at a McDonald's and enjoy it. I can totally see why people hate working there though, not including horrible management, lack of communication, and the Karens and Kevins. I also genuinely enjoy the food. Again, I can see why people don't enjoy the food. I love your videos, and I just wanted to give you some engagement while sharing a workers side of the story for McDonald's!^^

A young man at a Starbucks in my state was trying to explain to a customer he'd fix their messed up order,but instead of being understanding,the customer THREW THE COFFEE IN HIS FACE! Poor kid.

Honestly didn't know Wendy's was so hated. They're my favorite fast food restaurant next to Five Guys because of the food, particularly the fries. While I've never had an experience with rude fast food workers, I could understand the chain being hated for poor customer service and wrong orders.

Ngl, these ratings for customer service remind me of a very positive experience I’ve had with a Whataburger employee. My sister and I were waiting for a bit when this guy came by with our food, all smiles and had an upbeat attitude when giving our food. He even gave us compliments and waited if we had any complaints or if he missed anything. Another time we saw him again, I was with my mom and he was the same upbeat positive attitude. It’s kinda nice to see someone in a fast food job, especially when you know that it’s not too easy.

Hot take: I don’t care if my food is fresh or not. I mean I’m not saying I’m gonna eat a burger that’s been sitting out in the open for like a week, but I’m fine with it not being recently made, like 2 or 3 minutes ago. The only thing that really irks me is when they get my order wrong, missing items, wrong items, unwanted toppings, the works.

I can't count the many times my family has order taco bell for delivery, and every single time, they either forget something or they cancel our order McDonald's, on the other hand, the workers are always rushing, which I don't blame, but they're always giving attitude as well All the other fast food chains on this list, we've rarely ever had a moment where we weren't satisfied

We must've gotten lucky with our local Wendy's. It's clean, they usually get the order right, and the majority of the people working there are fairly pleasant. Our only real issue with the places that our town is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere. there have been quite a few times when our local Wendy's ran out of things you wouldn't think they would. Seriously, stuff like straws. Now if you want to talk about a problematic chain in my area Pizza Hut has given me food poisoning twice.(second Time around was a birthday party at work and I had no idea the pizza was from Pizza Hut due to the fact that managers already threw out the boxes.) Also, our franchise Burger King was shut down by the health department and turned into a Verizon. So if that tells you anything...

Hey Strider, love the content. I've worked with a lot of fast food places in my life, Burger King, McDonald's, KFC and Popeyes and I emphasize with your pain of feeling second fiddle to drive thru customers. For a few places we have a big honking TV that shows us the times for drive through and the worst part of being a drive thru worker, if your times aren't up to snuff it's meeting after meeting. They don't care for in store guests, we've been told to just not worry about them until drive is empty.

I’ve worked at Wendy’s for two years and it’s an experience for sure. I feel bad for the people who have to wait several minutes for food and sometimes, shit goes wrong. Multiple appliances broke when I worked and management didn’t want to fix it because it costed money. Which is dumb because everything does. Last summer was atrocious because of the heat and people wanting strawberry salads so much, we sold over 60 grilled chickens just during lunch hours.

I was with a group of about 25 people who went to eat Pizza hut as a celebration and it gave everyone food poisoning. Worst part about that is no one ate the exact same pizza so no one could narrow it down to one pizza that gave it to us, so the entire order was bad enough to give us food poisoning. I have never eaten Pizza Hut since.

I up and quit fast good 3 years ago after starting weight loss, but I do remember back when I was in 4th grade me and the family stopped at McDonalds for lunch, and later on that day my dad started feeling very weird and sick. We took him to the doctor and apparently, he had food poisoning. And we've never been back there since.

Warning, Long Comment: I've only had 3 fast food restaurants in my local area disappoint me, (one of them i stopped going to outside of breakfast), they were Taco Bell, Burger King, and Pizza Hut. Taco Bell was basically the whole "they don't get my order right" but the problem was that it would always be MY order, which always was soft tacos with NO lettuce. Apparently the concept of "don't add something" is hard to remember. Pizza Hut- this one hurts because we usually had good service from them but this one particular time they had an AWFUL door dash driver. So we order our food (Large Pepperoni with breadsticks and wings) and 20 minutes after the time when the food was supposed to be there, i get this thought in my head and go to check the front door. There's the food on our porch and when I open the Pizza and breadstick box, there's bugs all over them. Wings were fine because of the container Pizza Hut put them in. However my mother and I were not happy at all. She calls Pizza Hut and tells them what happened and the lady.on the phone says that their drivers don't usually knock if it's Door Dash and my mother told her that's dumb. So the lady says that she'll refund the money (which took over a year for some reason) and we got food somewhere else that night. We still eat Pizza Hut to this day because it's still better than Donatos and Domino's anyday. Burger King is the one I swore off of (in my local area) because one year I got food there 3 times and EACH TIME they got my order wrong and the 3 time was the last straw. The first two times I order a chicken sandwich with ketchup and pickles only. I get my sandwich and there's mayo, tomatoes, mustard on it. The third time they actually got the "ketchup and pickles only" thing right but they gave me a Whopper instead of a Chicken Sandwich like I ordered and the Chicken Sandwich was even on the receipt. So I've sworn off that particular Burger King.

I've worked at both McDonald's and Burger King, and I can tell you from first-hand experience that the complaints from customers were pretty accurate. We definitely got complains about staff and the speed/accuracy of orders directed at the specific locations I worked at.

One I try to avoid is KFC. My brother used to work in one, and he told me horror stories about what the staff got up to when they could. Here's a hint... avoid the mashed potatoes.

One thing that stood out to me the most was the one comment mentioning how the drive thru is prioritized over the lobby customers. I have worked for Mcdonalds for almost 9 years now and unfortunately that is true. Reason being we are constantly timed (which fast food place isnt) especially thru peak hours and are expected to keep the drive thru moving no matter what and when you are understaffed or don't have enough people trained to do what you need to do even with a floor plan and can't find others to come in it makes it more stressful.

The Whopper Sacrifice thing sounds like good fun since it's only facebook "friendships", I don't think unfriending someone makes you unable to DM them or deletes your DM history or really cuts you off from each other and most people probably accepted the friend requests that the unfriended people sent again or even sent friend requests to the people they unfriended. The message told them why they were unfriended and it was just the equivalent of sharing a link to 10 people to get a coupon except you have to send them a new friend request now. If anything it would make my friendship stronger with someone if we had a laugh about how they sacrificed me for a tenth of a burger, and not that I even have 10 friends but if I did I'd pick my close friends who are likely to understand and forgive and laugh with me about it.

I’ve spent time in fast food kitchens and as an employee I can say a few things about the environments I worked in. Keep in mind most of these are franchised chains and will vary from location to location; I’m sure there are some McDonald’s and Pizza Hut owners who are great buuuutttt well McDonald’s- only worked here for a month or so, but I can say I only got two training days, and was then thrown to the wolves. Our district manager literally pulled me off the schedule just two weeks in to tell me how disappointing I was since she was paying me more than the other new hires. There was no communication between managers, one night I was on schedule to assist closing a shift that usually ends at 11 pm, I was sent early because the daytime manager told me to leave and left her closing crew short. A few managers mostly sat in the office and left everyone to try to work dinner rushed on their own. Once I learned the job things went okay enough, most of us were just trying to do our best but you aren’t given nearly enough training time, which is probably why so many McDonalds struggle with friendliness and accuracy. Fazollis- Worst job I’ve ever worked. Paychecks were not clearing. Left after two weeks. The pasta and salads are made fresh but do not order pizza or wings. The pizza and wings are pre-cooked and stuck in a heating unit where they can sit for hours. Can’t say much more as I left after two consecutive checks had issued clearing. Pizza Hut- nothing here is fresh made. Every dough, cheese, meat and veg comes prepackaged. They were also stupid strict about who could do what. Drivers were made to not only do deliveries, but fold boxes and wash dishes as well. The “cook” does nothing but assemble pizzas and sometimes cut them. I had been told off the record that part of the reason I wasn’t allowed to cut pizzas or take orders was because the store manager at our location didn’t want to put a trans person in front of people in order to avoid a potential argument. Managers were grossly incompetent; the store manager lacked any sort of leadership and feared confrontation so much that he’d never correct mistakes or stand up for his workers if customers or other workers got out of line. One night time manager would openly flirt with his underaged staff and shirk his duties but was never reprimanded the entire time I was there. If your driver is rude to you it’s probably because they’re doing way too much work in house since “cooks” aren’t allowed to touch dishes or boxes even if it’s slow and the driver is out on a delivery run. Hungry Howies- These are new in my area but have a lot of locations in other regions; dough is fresh, veggies are all fresh, only things brought in are sauce and meats which are understandable for a fast food place. Since my store had just opened I actually worked with some of the corporate trainers who were both super friendly and helpful. Instead of being asked to skimp on ingredients we’re actually encouraged to make sure our customers get their moneys worth. Employees are cross trained but the pace is dictated by how much someone can handle, as opposed to being taught everything at once, you’re allowed to ease into new responsibilities.

As someone who used to work for Starbucks I was very very very very very stressed out by the limited amount of people that were allowed to work in one shift and the amount of multitasking that was asked me to do. This is worse when I now know that I am autistic which I did not know at the time. I made mistakes but it was never due me not wanting to do a good job. The job was emotionally taxing.

Honestly, Wendy’s in my hometown was surprisingly pleasant after the building got renovated. During COVID, they shut down their serving room and focused solely on the drive through. But then our Pizza Hut was absolutely dreadful, my family would regularly go to Dominos because it was the only place in town with edible pizza after the closing of a local place.

South African here. Personally, I've never had an issue with McDonald's. Every time I went through the drive-through with my mom, we typically got our orders right as we got to the window. And every time we ordered some soft-serve, we always got it. I mean, sure, the orders looked nothing like advertised, and the McFlurries never had the Oreo bits mixed into the ice-cream, but it never bothered me personally. That said, I do typically only go to McDonald's nowadays for soft-serve, and some where else for burgers.

Speaking as a former Generic Pizza Place Employee (I'm still afraid to say their name publically). The pizza tracker was never accurate. It was programmed to tell you when it SHOULD be done and not exactly when it was actually done. This confusion lead to a lot of unhappy customers. The only reason there were "unprofessional employees" is because very often you'd pick up the phone and immediately start getting screamed and cursed at by a stranger. A stranger who didn't care about you, your well being, or the fact that your just another human being just doing the best you can. The only thing that mattered was the pizza. Its hard to keep a cool head when faced with such visceral disrespect and lack of empathy. 3 out of 10 would not recommend.

The Wendy's near me has the nicest old man running the drive through window. I wonder what brought him to a place like that.

When I couldn't get hired by a Starbucks that was in such desperate need of hires that they often closed at 1 PM, and then I noticed both the incredibly concerning job interview questions and my friends complaining about the prices and drink quality randomly changing every week...yeah I think I'll put my eggs in the Dunkin basket.

Thank you so much Strider for pointing out how sadly many places are understaffed. I don't work in fast food but I do work in customer service & on days when I'm have a ton of people to help all at once it can be stressful but what makes it worth it is those who come in & understand how hard people in customer service work. It's so nice when someone comes in understandably upset but they understand that yelling at us isn't going to solve the issue no matter how it was caused even though I would much prefer them leave satisfied the first time they come in, I would rather not have someone come in & be rude towards me or a co-worker because of a mistake or be rude because we looked just a little tired from being overworked

I was genuinely surprised to see Wendy's here honestly I've never had any of these problems at my local Wendys the staff have always been friendly and I have never had to wait more than ten minutes but most of all the food is actually warm and tasty maybe I just got the big end of the stick😂

I’ve been going to Wendy’s for years and I have never ever seen anything quite like the kind of experience you mentioned. Whenever I go to Wendy’s, I’ve actually been lucky to almost never have to worry somehow about my order getting messed up. Especially if you’re like me and you probably just got chicken nuggets, fries, and a Coke.

A great restaurant where I’m from is Culvurs. It’s an American midwestern chain that started in Wisconsin. Even before I started working there, it was always a favorite. The stores tend to be cleaner than a lot of other places. Seasonal menu items stick around for at least a month (my fav is the frozen cocoa custard). The veggie burger is the best I’ve had from any other fast food chain, which is awesome for me as a vegetarian. Btw, the custard is really good, whether you get a dish or mixer.

I used to work at a tea shop called Teabear Teahouse The tea was good, but when working there, I was constantly stressed out and left because we were constantly understaffed and I was frantically going from one task to another on a whim. Barely cleaned equipment, toppings left out overnight, and there was this one ceiling tile that was at risk of falling onto the one barista station we had. I haven’t been there for tea or coffee since. Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to get it out of my system. Where I work now pays better anyway

I went to Wendy's a couple of months ago thru the drive thru, ordered a baconator meal, got my food and noticed it was a single patty. When I asked why I didn't get the double patty, I was told "you should've ordered a double" no appoligy or any effort to make it right!! My weirdest drive thru experience was at Hardee's years ago before Carl's Jr bought them. I pulled up the order board and sat there for a full 2 minutes, about 30 seconds later I was about to say "hello" when a voice came over the speaker and said "are you gonna order or what?" I pulled up and asked to talk to the manager, I could see her at the far end of the counter. The employee walked over and they both looked over at me. Then the manager just walked out towards the back and ignored me!

I worked at McDonald's last year and it was awful. We were understaffed in the kitchen and that combined with the constant beeping of everything always overstimulated me and sent me into a panic attack every shift. I was so stressed that I was su*cidal

As an Wendy's employee, I'll be honest most time new people who are working, can make it very tricky keep it quick specially if we are under staff. If there's one thing I hate is when our fryers are going though filters during a lunch rush. Specially if didn't have time or wasn't aware how soon.

I went to a McDonald's which was VERY busy, like, it took half an hour for anyone to go up and take my order, which I could tell by both the amount of people there, and how rushed everyone was. In the midst of all the whispered complaints, I legit heard an employee yell out "MCDONALD'S SUUUUUCKS" and I replied back saying "yes it doooooeeees..." And everyone laughed with me.

I worked in KFC a few years ago and honestly, we were basically always under staffed. The management was complete crap as well. After seeing how they treat their food in the kitchen, I haven’t eaten at KFC since.

I’m not even in my 30s yet, and I’m still old enough to remember you could pick fast food based off how differently priced they all were. Now they all cost $12-$15, which is what it usually costs to eat at local restaurants that are a step above fast food, but the food is miles ahead as far as quality goes 💀

I've never worked in fast food, but my best friend worked at McDonald's and Steak N Shake while we were in high school, and according to him, the drive-thru is ALWAYS the priority over the dining room customers.

I once went to Starbucks after getting my braces tightened one day, on my birthday too, and the customer in front of us ended up paying our order forward. What a legend.

So when I was leaving from Luis Munoz Marin airport at San Juan last monday, we decided to eat at a dominoes pizza that was there while we waited for the plane to Florida to arrive. The personal pizzas me and my dad got had burnt crust, it was black as heck, and the wings my dad’s gf got were dry as hell. It also didn’t help that they now refuse to deliver out to where we live despite them delivering to us numerous times. Overall, it was a good reason for us to go to Pizza Hutt for all our pizza delivery needs.

I worked at Pizza Hut when I was younger as a delivery driver. There were always callouts so we were understaffed everyday. I learned to make/prep foods to help out. They would increase the expected delivery time to 2 hours in hopes to dissuade people from ordering because we were so short staffed. It did not work lol I would often be the only driver working dinner shifts, and have to deliver 15+ orders at a single time, which of course the food got cold by then and I heard a ton of complaints.

i never really had any issues with the service fast food really, but one day (idk if this counts) a fight happened at my local mcdonalds. i cant remember if the employees did anything about it but the cops showed up. even tho the service at mcdonalds where i’m at is pretty friendly i wont ever forget that incident. also i LOVE how you added that clip from dan vs at 13:46 because it’s my most favourite cartoon lol

Recently, my dad went to McDonald’s near our area at around 4-5 in the morning and said that he ordered a tea and noticed that the workers who served him his tea were giggling and laughing and when he looked in his drink, he found some type of oil at the bottom of it. Oil is extremely bad for your stomach and those workers thought it would be funny to give my dad stomach pain. Unfortunately, he threw the evidence away so we couldn’t sue….

The DRIVE THROUGH, where I had to deal with 2 menus AND people talking to me in my headset AND in the store, ALL AT ONCE. I nearly had a nervous breakdown and singlehandedly caused a 20-car backup. I quit at the end of my shift.

22:02 Actually a lot of McDonald's locations are throwing out their playgrounds and actively sapping out their own identity so the franchise owner can easily sell it if it fails, giving it basically the personality of a mall kiosk self checkout. So yeah, I used to love McDonald's and even I have to wonder what's wrong with them to be *that* bad.

Are these problems in America only? Because over here in Finland, I personally have never encountered any problems with Burger King, Taco Bell and McDonald's. We do have Starbucks here as well, but I don't drink coffee, so I can't judge Starbucks. And Wendy's and Domino's doesn't exist in Finland. Although some of my family members have said that their Taco Bell food they ordered from one specific location isn't really good, but that's really the only complaint I have heard from these fast food chains from my family. And also that my dad refuses to go to McDonald's again for his own personal reasons. All in all, in Finland the only fast food chain in this video I have heard no one complain about is Burger King.

When the Baconator came out, friends and I went to try it.. and my friends didn't have bacon on it. When we went to ask the manager just yelled out "Who forgot to put bacon on the Baconator!?" and someone said, "ah I knew I forgot something"

Any fast food restaurant will prioritize the drive thru because they are timed. You're "not on the clock" when you walk in. It's all about the metrics. Waited 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich at Wendy's. Walked into a McDonald's and was seen by three employees. No service at all, I walked out. The Burger King by my house is horrible. No coca cola products in the machine, constantly messing up my order, needless to say, I don't go there anymore. I could go on forever, but I won't...

Always appreciate these dives into the world of fast food! Not gonna lie, it's honestly rather useful. For the food in these joints, I might as well flip 'em patties on my own pan. Kinda sad to see Domino's hasn't been avoiding the Noid lately... Oh, but these times, when eating pizza outside was a cozy experience... I remember that from when I was a kid, with Pizza Hut. It wasn't the 90's, but in my country, things are always late when compared to the places overseas. I remember ordering always the individual Pepperoni Lovers when we ate outside the restaurant, but inside? Oh, it was warm, cozy... it had a darker color palette, the wood on the furniture, the ceiling... I "want" to say the floor even was that checkerboard pattern, but that I can't guarantee. I worked carts at a grocery store that near a Starbucks and was often working in the morning. Alone. You can imagine how many people drove quickly through the parking lot to get to the Starbucks drive-through.

that whopper sacrifice thing is an actual garbage ad idea, there is actually NO reason to lose friends for a burger, AND have the app send a message to your friends thats just like "your friend considered you worth a burger" like that makes them probably think your a total jerk like dude! what if someone lost lots of their friends and constantly got sent "your friend thought you were worth 1/10 of a burger"

Every Burger King I’ve been to, no matter what town or state, has been very understaffed. Sometimes the restaurant is closed at odd hours and if it isn’t, the service is slow because there’s only two people working. It’s really sad to see and it isn’t really worth checking to see if they’re open.

I have fond memories associated with Wendy’s. Me and my siblings used to get bacon cheeseburgers from there when we were kids and would visit our grandmother. Then, for a while we would go to the one near our school every week with several other families. We called this “Frosty Friday,” and as far as I can remember, we always got decent service, and the place was clean and everything. We’re all making headway towards adulting now, but we all currently live at home, and have since moved closer to the area where we went to school, and that same Wendy’s is now the closest one to our house. It’s a night and day difference. It’s a miracle if the place is even open now.

I was honestly surprised to see Wendy's on this list and even more surprised to see a scathing review from my home State. The Wendy's near where I live doesn't really have these problems.

I absolutely hate Dominos, especially after they took over my area and ousted all the other, more decent chains. I am thankful for the local Italian Place that makes the best and fastest pizza. Other than that, I really enjoy chains for the comfort - you can almost reliably get a similar service experience, and some have local variants in different countries. I also like trying popular fast food chains in other countries.

Fun Fact: The ice cream machine at Mcdonalds isnt broken. They just dont want to make you one if they're rushed

The Domino's Pizza in my home town isn't exactly a "restaurant" because they only have carryout and delivery. But my pizza has always been in my mouth already in about 45 minutes. And it tastes better than any pizza I've ever had.

I'm so shocked that Burger King's on the list. I've been visiting there up to this day, ever since my childhood!

I've eaten at McDonald's for so many years that I now realize that I am used to eating decent yet underwhelming burgers. I've eaten at Taco Bell for years as well, but I still think their food is decent. On the subject of customer service, I have been a fast food worker for a year and a half. I can see where the low reviews come from, being a fast food worker is stressful.

I'm kinda glad my local Dominos is still good. The only time i've had to deal with long wait times was during the evening hours, especially on weekends. I try to stay smart and order around noon when it isn't that busy. That said, I usually only see one staff member during that time and it's sad seeing one guy/gal having to handle all the early shift orders.

I wouldn't usually leave a cheesy comment like this... but thank you for the upload Strider. I've been really, really upset this week over the disappearance of my pet snake and having one of your cozy uploads to enjoy helps improve my mood a little bit more. It's hard to stay positive so something like this is a nice break for my emotions. Keep doing what you do man, thank you again for the always enjoyable uploads.

I didn't go to a McDonald's for a long time and when I stopped in recently for a Quarter Pounder, I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted fresh and cost only $5.43 including tax. It's a tremendous deal in this day and age.

The second you moved on to Starbucks I got a Starbucks ad 😂

My experience with Starbucks has gotten better after the union fight got a wage increase. They stopped getting my order wrong, and seemed happier, resulting in better service.

I worked for Domino's for almost 4 years and the real reason why it takes so long for food to come is because there's usually only 2-3 people working in the store at any given time. And it's usually a high school or college student that's already stressed as hell and on the verge of quitting.

I waited 40 minutes at a Wendy's for my order before someone finally asked me what I needed. Then she proceeded to berate the poor cashier, who was not responsible for the mistake. I felt so bad for the poor kid. Never went back there

The one time I went to a pizza hut restaurant, it was for some guys birthday and me and my sister had to wait AN ENTIRE HOUR just to get overcooked pizzas whilst everybody else got theirs in 20 minutes and all correct. Fortunately, we had something else in compromise. I think. it's been so long so it's hard to remember.

I remember my parents used to take me and my sister to McDonald's on a weekly basis. It wasn't until my sister upchucked from the Egg McMuffin that we stopped going there. Nowadays, we only get breakfast from them, but EXTREMELY RARELY. Hell! I can't even remember the last time I had Hotcakes and Sausage and Hashbrowns.

I'd probably add White Castle, Jack in the Box, KFC, and Subway to the list, but that's just me. :P Also, gotta agree that it's a little difficult to fault the staff for their attitude. Many of them are really young, overworked, and underpaid. Like yeah, there's an argument to be made that they shouldn't be taking their frustrations out on customers, but as someone who worked in fast food for 2 years, I can relate to how stressful that line of work is.
