Pharmacy Residency Interviews are right around the corner, so I thought it would be helpful to invite a special guest to help me conduct a mock interview.
ABOUT THE GUEST:
Dr. Allana Alexander, also known as "Doctor Lany", is the owner/operator of A2 Pharmacy Solutions, a boutique pharmacy that provides an array of services including: medication therapy management, clinical conference advising and speaking, online education and public speaking. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy (MSOP). She went on to complete a PGY-1 Managed Care Pharmacy residency at VIVA Health, Inc. and a Master of Science in Pharmacy in Medication Therapy Management degree from the University of Florida. She is board certified in MTM by the National Board of Medication Therapy Management. She is the host of The Rx Factor Podcast and has an all organic rapidly growing social media following.

Karlette (Dr. Kay) is a fourth year pharmacy student interviewing for a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency program at a 600 bed community hospital.
Dr. Lany is a clinical pharmacy specialist the preceptor for the internal medicine rotation. She will be conducting this portion of Karlette’s interview.
