I’ve been trying to watch a lot of videos to see if I could sift out an obvious answer, but what I’d like to know is how many of what fish I could have in a 20 gallon community tank. Is it too much to have a honey gourami, pygmy corydoras, and chili rasboras? If I do one gourami and 7 of the corys, how many chili rasboras could I have? I absolutely love chili rasboras, if that’s too much stocking I’d consider going with a 29 gallon if it would make the difference

i had 2 honey gouramis that both died of swim bladder disease after about 6 months of owning them. I was keeping them with endlers, and the endlers are still alive and well. Not sure if anyone else has that problem with honey gouramis

Underated

Took me 3 years to figure out the water was killing my bettas. and I found that the filtration was inadequate I had to add an extra sponges in the filter compartments and some extra biomedia. I did what they said 5 gallon filter no heater cuz I'm living in Taiwan but I even have heaters when I need them I bought them. Two heaters and if it's by the window I put one in but most of the time Taiwan is hot and humid I'm an American living here and it took me 3 years to find almond leaves and it took me 2 years to find Frozen bloodworms. That reminds me I have to feed my fish. I also have two types of pellets also soak your pellets I think it's really good for preventing swim bladder. males get that very easily every fish that has ever died has been male. I've had maybe 10 females in the last 3 years and only two died because they were really small and one was deformed but they all lived for two to three years and just died of old age really if I had known about the water I would have found the almond leaves sooner but it really does neutralize water when I put in two or three big chunks of almond leaves it actually takes out the acid or neutralizes it in my water for at least a week so I don't need to do a water change until then and even when I do a water change it's maybe once a week now I have a tank that's pretty big there are six male guppies and one female betta who gets along very well with them Their water change I do a complete water change like I cleaned the filters to smudges of course in the old water I remove out all the plants and stones and Driftwood put it in a clean bowl and then I take the tank into the actual bathroom scrub out the gravel like rinse it until it's clean because guppies pool a lot and truthfully the Tate gets pretty cruddy through the filter so I just do this because gravel vacuuming doesn't work very well. I don't feel that my tanks are clean particularly in the gravel however I rinse none of The hardscape or the Driftwood or the plants off and then I don't rinse out the filter and you water I use old water so it is all beneficial bacteria But the other tanks yeah I just need to gravel back and it works just fine and I've got healthy fish for guppies are being put into another tank because their tails have been ripped I think someone was thin nipping.

My mystery snail climbed out when I really didn't think there was enough of a gap. He broke and died. He was the best worker and most interesting thing to look at. Be careful with them.

Hello great vid i have a 29 gallon tank i have 2 zebra danios 3 mollies 2 tetras 2 glofish tetra 1 african dwarf frog 2 Cherry shrimp 8 ghost shrimp and 4 snails and 2 cory julil what would you recommend i add to my tank im really looking for diversity by the way this is my first serious fish tank any changes i need to make.

If you've got hard water that's horrifically acidic don't get male bettas they don't do well Female bettas actually do great I don't know why all my female bed is have lived 3 years at least milbadas can't get one to live past 4 months. now guppies on the other hand they don't seem to be croaking I don't know why maybe there's somewhat hearty fish I don't know
