Thank you Pharrell. I've been a musician all my life...i'm 55, yet I"m so misunderstood.. I've always been different. And yet, rarely accepted. I was accepted when I was on top on the Jersey Circuit, but when I lost my sight due to diabetes, and my health started taking a dive, I've had less and less friends. I now shout...I AM OTHER. With tears in my eyes, I thank you very much...Godspeed and Blessings!!! ;'-/

i love pharrell!!!!!!! he is one of the most sought after producers making all sorts of music. i saw him with n.e.r.d. what a rocking show!! he speaks for me.....a singer with decades of experience in all types of music... i hear everyday that i'm too old....i love the excitment of new sounds...beats...more peace and understanding!! thanks pharrell....i'm old school never in the box!! i'm a singer and artist...its all i've ever wanted!! rock on!!

Let me just say that great minds think alike. When I say I have dozens of rough drafts in my notebook about an organization termed, “I Am Other"...I mean who knew Pharrell Williams was somewhere on the other side of the planet drafting up the same damn thing! Lol that's amazing! I am ecstatic to see this birthed before my very own eyes, and I am excited to see what else Pharrell has in store for the brand!

If there is one thing that wreaks the most havoc on my professional life; it is that i am OTHER. The fact that my work is focused on arts & culture make this reality doubly unsavory. Balancing bias every day exhausts my mind & spirit. Thank you for giving me a place to go for reminders that being authentic, honest, and sincere is MUCH more important than the small paycheck I receive every two weeks. (sidenote: also, you have some DAMN GOOD content. thank you for that, too.

This is amazing, so glad to be witnessing the start of this. My whole life I've lived on a parallel road to the people who surround me...we're all heading the in the same direction through time but my path literally couldn't have been any different. And I mean that. But maybe there is somewhere for me....the place outside the box...the only real place to be. I am OTHER.

I am totally enamored with the idea of this movement. As a kid, it was difficult being 'other', but now i've grown to love who i am. i'm in college studying to become a teacher, just so that i can encourage students to embrace 'other' instead of feeling strange about themselves. Thanks for this, love ya Pharrell!

I'm not the same because everyone is just boring to me, I want to meet someone who is unique, just like me... Everyone today fits into a category, I am always called "weird" or people talk about me because I'm not scared to do something different. I am other, and thanks to Pharrell, I'm even more glad that I am.. He is my new inspiration.
