Good to see Rory McGrath Enjoying himself playing Guitar ( back left ) . Think we should all get behind this song and make it a number 1 . Wake up Britain

Bravo. Like an acoustic Libertines. A smart bar owner would hire these cats as a permanent house band.
@InParticularNobody8 жыл бұрын
MechanicalAnimal no. the Libertines are narcissists.
@synthvault8 жыл бұрын
InParticularNobody Well I would argue they didn't begin that way but did end up that way. What I meant was more tied to their sound. Nice and raw, unfiltered form the streets of England but with a metric ton of heart. .
@InParticularNobody8 жыл бұрын
true :). Yes - maybe this is what the Libertines could have been if they hadn't been undone by ego and drugs, and instead had bigger hearts. a proper glimpse of Albion.

I found this tune on Reddit a few months ago and I really liked their music after browsing for a while. I didn't think about them much after that and as I was walking through the Sheffield city center yesterday I happened to drop by these guys just before they played Millionaires! I felt pretty star struck to be honest haha, it was surreal to see them in person considering I hardly ever stroll through the city center and the one time I do, I just happen to walk down the street that they were busking on, big ups!

***** You commented a while ago, but in the case that you're still curious, someone asked them on their official facebook page if they plan to use spotify, and they responded with: "Thank you very much Tim for your support . I've been told that Spotify isn't very musician friendly so we have avoided it like so many other big company music provider websites and services. I understand this doesn't help you and for this I am sorry . Thanks again though for your support . P" To my understanding, unless you're getting millions upon millions of plays, spotify doesn't have a very good return value, and with small independent bands they can really get screwed.

Great rhythms, harmonies, vocals brilliant man … this is free enterprise at its best. ...they are rewarded paid for their talent - better the effort the more they get. PASSION, is shown in their music -- you can see they are not just there for the money. INFLUENCE … they work the crowd to influence success and sing a song "Give us your money" but clever worded as satire (brilliant) and people give more on that song then other. They cheer to encourage the giving behaviour. CUSTOMER SERVICE is impeccable here ...someone wants to buy a CD the boom box guy stops playing mid song runs out keenly not just to get money but to participate in a transaction ...when have you gone into one of these dept stores and had someone serve you so keenly?HONESTLY shown here - a little girl gave money but went without a CD, the mandolin player stopped playing and went to give it to her. These guys should right a business manual. ...if our large corporations, governments and councils were to model their business on this model, society would be much better off. No corrupt capitalism funded by govt and govt run socialism. Image if the COUNCIL paid them a standard daily rate to play, wouldn't be worth watching and I wouldn't be written this passing comment.However they tend to think certain ideological groups are evil -- Its the individuals, Humans, Us. The evil is in us... If they were in charge, we all know they would be the same and some others will be singing how corrupt they are. A system can't save us from this corruption. Only a person who has passion, influence, care, honestly imbedded in them, in their spirit, can. Find that person, find their path and decide, is it worth walking it?
