Here in the UK when the breathers are split like this. We refer to them as Muskins. A popular and effective tying.

Newbie here. I was wondering why you say that type of hook but you don't give the hook size?

Most flies can be tied in a variety of sizes. This one is a good example. Could be tied in a 10 or a 16 so I like to let people know the hook we use so they can opt for the same if they choose but size will be relative to the area and size of bugs ya deal with.
